You are also gut feeling trader may be.
Because every day in green is not possible if follow some consistent way of trading.
Your daily green consistency tells me that you also do trading based on guts rather than some well written down pre-planned way of trading.
I can clearly tell you that you follow different sl size different lot size according to your gut and you trade only one pair and you trade different smaller timeframes.
And you don't like when the trade comes back after going in profit, so you like to take profit more often and when the price comes back near to where you took previous trades according to your gut you do trade again in the same direction and you keep doing this until your gut is satisfied with enough greens you see for the day in your terminal history. That's all what you do, no specific method, no better strategy. Just normal. Your trading is more of like watching the charts all the time waiting for setups and trade a lot more.

It’s astonishing (and dismaying) that they’ve got away with so much, unregulated, for so long. And they still do.

If this becomes regulated and if that means opening real accounts and sending trades to the market, it's basically the end of online props. Not even TST and so on will survive. This online industry only survives as a gaming industy. Not as a real thing.

What are you talking about? It doesn’t have to mean that, at all: there are plenty of well-regulated forex brokers (e.g. all the ones regulated by the UK’s FCA and all the Swiss-regulated ones) who don’t send trades to any live market.

I'm talking specifically about futures props, not cfd props

If regulators come and demand that props, after the challenge passed, open real accounts in a real broker and deposit the trailing DD amount in trader's name, this is obviously the end of online futures props as we know it because most of traders are losers.
I mentioned TST for being the oldest and because everybody knows that they don't send most of traders to real. It's not me saying that. It's their own T&Cs.

And god forbids that regulators come with brilliant ideas like demanding traders to have certifications and so...

You talk a lot about regulation. I always see the other side effect of regulation and how that can be damaging. I'm really tired of regulators messing my life.
Do you know that European people can't buy a single unit of best seller ETFs like SPY or TLT, unless they are qualified as professional ? How's this protecting me ? But that gets worse. I can buy CFDs of SPY and TLT without any problem! Isn't that laughable ? And I can buy ITM calls of SPY and TLT, let them expire, pay them and stay with them in my portfolio until I want to sell them. How dumb is it ? I hope you understand my aversion to regulation.

-To be fair, the so-called funding element involved with remote props must be considered here.
