this wick needs to raise the price above 2650 or I anticipate the 2610s. It's an important H1 candle in my book.

It happens yeah. Usually if you are right about the bigger move, then being in profit 10$ (for example), then 5$, then 20$, then 10$ and finally then 35$ is normal.

This price action is kind of irritating, so I'll see if I'll close the Shorts and open them tomorrow before NFP or I'll stay. I'll stay for now, though.

Had to close Shorts on the Silver, but will keep the ones on Gold.

I’m out for now, playing it safe. Closed all todays positions in profit so I’ll take the win and see where price goes from here

this ***tty price action looks like the last writhes before the big move but I won't bet on which way it will go. I only have a short left at 2684.

Also DXY went to my objectives that I set before the week, I close the week here.

At the moment it may seem that gold and dxy are not moving in correlated with each other, but I believe that at some point gold will react more sensitively to the movements of dxy.

As many times the opposite has been true, hover over the Close button but let it run, then it reverses and wipes out all the profit haha

Exactly. 5 out of 10 times the price continues moving in direction that you thought it would and you take profit "early" and the other 5 times it reverses and you take nothing or lose some after already being in profit.
