Finishing my second week. Getting close. Taking it slow. These are 150k Evals (Topstep). I am beginning to LOVE the EOD Drawdown a lot more than trailing Drawdown.

Anyone got experience with GoatFundedTrader? I'm currently funded with them on a 100k account and I made a lot of profit landing me a 9k profitsplit but I can't request it yet. Im kinda worried that since it's my first payout with them and it's pretty high I'll be scammed.

Never experienced any slippage or bad fills in TopStepX. I trade Apex alongside and Its all same. There are rumors.
Drawdown is more important than Account Size !

This is what every trader dreams of. Green days with no to very minimal red days.
Just consecutive winning trades. With consecutive wins & increasing lot size anyone can be a millionaire.
Losing trades kill dreams of many traders.

You just need heavy instrument, with some tick size much bigger than transaction cost (ZB is perfect for that, ZN also good, UB a bit too volatile), you stay bid/offer, and you will be filled totally irrational way. So let's say there is 100 lots on bid on ZB, you wait with your limit there, there is 4 lots traded and you will be filled (even normally you would be at the end of the line and usually filled only when the price is not good anymore), then you just give it back with 1 tick. ZB is 31,25 per tick, trade cost ~4 usd, you put more lots, you copy to other accounts, and voila - you have those huge payouts. Of course you need to use correct time for it, not too volatile, also there is another way to do it, which I won't share. But this is basically it.

Does it have sense ? If your goal is to exploit the error and get payouts out of SIM - yes, if you want to "normally" trade - no, it won't work on live market.

The problem of those ppl is they were greedy... Go hardcore (and probably earned a lot at the beginning) and now it will be blocked for everyone..."

you don't use props but you're so engrossed with props. Now you are teaching on how to scam the props, yet don't know about margin.
Since you have such a wonderful trick why don't you accept my challenge to open a $150K prop account and see who pass the challenge first.

if you wan do the hard way, i have so many seen get greedy after to many wins without losers and get some big losses and lost all.

much more easy to have thousands of loser a year (and of course on end more win in money ) and know exactly the risk you have by this and get used to have losers as part of the trading costs. so the wins get crazy easy and money comes in like a near upgoing line in your equity curve (if you have an edge and experience).

so in general often beginner hope for have low amount of losers, professional wants a lot of losers (for emotional, math , stability and risk calculation reasons) , but dont let them get big.

I noticed something.

Futures price and spot price in gold is same.

INdices price differs between spot and futures.

It is better to trade gold in futures Tradovate in this situation

I would not be comfortable with such amount in Goat (and almost nowhere else, to be honest). They're known for being very shady with plenty of denials. I think the best is to stop trading and pray to get paid. Keep us posted please.

When you copy trade using Topstep are your stoploss and takeprofit copied over to the follower account?

Ouch, that was not nice. We should credit the quotes TrAndy.

I see in that thread that poopy showed up. If he gets too involved in the discussion blood will start flooding. He's definitely one of the best real traders that I ever found in all these years in market forums (poopy is just his last nick, he had many more in the past). Very abrasive but, besides being brilliant in options, he knows his stuff and doesn't take BS.
