i saw the same trade - going same as you if there is volume ill leave it if not close manually - at this kind of time i really like buying from the bottoms then selling tbf

If FOMC wasn't on the board i would go for this setup but the news makes it a bit harder to know where we go first :

I am Buying some oil, some XRP and some Silver. I didn't buy stocks, but whatever... can't buy everything. Also, stocks will continue going up, but not for that long in my opinion.

Even when fundamental and trend on our side, we need a good setup to enter in the market, else we might be right, yet losing money.

Major banks are positioning for 25bps cut today, while 2 more cut ( total of 75bps cut in 2024)- ~4.75% FED fund rate by EOY,
Other projection:
lowered inf rate, higher GDP rate, Higher U.Rate, 3.25-3.5% terminal rate.


FED dual mandate: Price stability, Strong LBR mkt.
Now FED focus more on LBR mkt than price stability.

Depends how high the Unemployment rate will be projected!

June ECO projection: U.rate was 4.0% i guess, while FOMC upper range was 4.5%.
Aug U.rate was at 4.3%.
More time in the market, does not mean you trade better!

25bps will probably be sell the news moment and our chance to buy the dip. We'll see... economic projections are today as well.

I think whatever happens today will continue tomorrow as well. Tomorrow will be a huge candle in my opinion.

Every wise investor/trader is currently waiting to see what will happen in less then 6 hours and will then open positions tomorrow.

Clearer direction will be set post FOMC.
