Ive found this to be kind of tricky to be honest. As I trade and train using a specific strategy alot I get into that strategy so much and defined that going outside of that strategy, then it can make one do mistakes if you switch between 2 different methods in span of a day even, and if its in a fast volatile markets like NQ and opening hour. Ive tried it ended in disaster. We all got our own styles and preferences and attitudes.

Trading prop firm is TOTALLY different than personal accounts. One may not be profitable in personal account but can be very profitable on prop firm if uses some COMMON SENSE and able to blow and rinse and repeat accounts.

Not sure how it makes difference? It is just lot size? If you are trading 5 MNQ on personal just trade 5 NQ on prop firm if your drawdown allows it.
it is just purely psychological. Use same stops and targets with different lot sizes.
Or just use copy trader and put ratios on copier.

It always lags. Check on news events 9.30 AM daily you will see difference irrespective of tradovate or quantowr or rithmic. Futures will lag CFD MT4 or MT5 on both mobile or desktop version which is kind of weird as CFD prices are driven by futures.

He is just a troll in this fine thread. Bad mouthing and attacking other traders here. If anyone knows where he lives I would immediately file a big complaint to FBI and police. Maybe I would take also legal action with my lawyers. He is abusing the internet anonymity here. Please ignore Expo33. Please do this in your FF settings. It is very important to stop him. Maybe we should hire a private detective to gather his personal data and then complaint to the police officers where he lives. He is a threat to this thread !

hey Cap, each on their own, right. I thought you are similar to me; to be under the radar on max 5-7k payouts? (2x average payout).. Why would one settle with low payouts with a grim future you are proposing? (still, i do agree on the risks)
Its hard to pass a challenge and then just to fuck it up with hardcore bets for my liking. I rather play it slow.


I have close friends which trade props for less than 2 years now. One friend is agressive; 27k payouts (more than 10 payouts in this region). Banned on Peaks, Lark, FFT, Fpips,...etc). Monty style.

Second friend is similar, but not so successfull. Both buying 200k+400k challenges and run around agressive styles just to get problems with "risk" departments of this firms. 3 trades challenges. 3% on trade kabuum. Several cases which he had to wait 2months and pressure them via social.
Buying from odd firms eventually. One very sucessfull, the other not so much. The latest payout from my successfull friend at Funded next around 30k. Got payed in 16h. Nasdaq madafaka!

Third friend is just buying / always failing. Risking lots - too much.

Then its me; currently playing 1mio of challenges/live; I have 2x 100k FTMO live and 200k challenge with them - 6 payouts total - Im playing them as my own account..The goal is 400k live and play them as my own. 200k Challenge is ongoing for 9th month now; p1 + 4%.
Then I have Alpha, 100k live; which Im playing for the 4th payout now...and 100k challenge (had 3 more live with them, wanted to do 27k as my friend, and failed them all ) - this was 3-5 months of work probably, which sickens me.
Then I have Ascend 2x 100k live; and 2x100k challenge. I requested td on one for third time; the second one is a bit under - so next cycle.
So all in all; My take is simple - I cant play agressive it seems. I play on the long run. If I knew props when they started (ftmo) I would already had builded the max - and would be running it now for hm, 5y? Its good to have calendar 5x a month with payout request(if made moneyz of course) - with a plan to extract it on long term with easy peasy risk, with risk manager signing my payout tickets not even noticing the "small" amount. So, I am a good prop client with longterm interest
