Thanks so much for your in-depth reply, sj9bp20! And for trying to re-create something that you've probably moved on from. Very kind of you. I can't even count how many indicators (let along the different settings in each!) that I've been through over the years. You have given a very detailed response, and I will dig into it next week, as I've found that trading right before and after US holidays is usually breakeven (at least for me), at best!

And thanks for the video on BBMA. I used candlestick formations a lot and not sure if I've ever seen this one. Thanks again!

And to let you know, I came over here looking for something that someone from SwingMan's Golden Cross thread had mentioned. If you haven't been there, it might well be worth your while. He's programmed something that "predicts" where a Buy or Sell should be based on a moving average crossover and other factors, but it gets you in before the candle closes. Very interesting. I'm playing around with it on 1-minute charts right now. Fun!

Alerts are bound to Arrows..
induk repaints in MTF-mode on current unclosed higher candle TimeFrame..
ARROWBAR & ALERTBAR without! correction! on MTF... because here we can enable 2 higher TimeFrames at once..
so set ARROWBAR & ALERTBAR manually.. for example = higher TF / current TF * ARROWBAR...

here starting price is usual Price/Average from chart = pPeriod, pMode & etc...
and period of Price normalization is dynamic.. it depends on number of candles that fit in current chart window...
and number of candles depends from chart scale...
so that.. even if we turn on sidebars, for example, "Data Window" = number of candles changes = induk's period changes & induk adapts

"comment" is displayed in upper left corner of chart:
First Visible Bar = this is first visible candle on chart.. leftmost candle that is visible on chart..
Bars Per Chart = this is number of candles that fits in window = this is current induk's period...
Chart Scale = current chart scale...
in WS version 2 lines added:
Normz Period = normalization period nzPeriod.
MinMax Period = normalization period for induk's Borders mmPeriod..

and so.. visually select desired chart scale: + and - buttons on keyboard.. remember scale... and...
if Index (green line) crosses level 50 == this is global trend change...
all Index's movements near levels 25 & 75 == this is start/end of correction...

it turned out to be not bad grail trend induk main thing isn't to forget on what chart's scale we opened order

SW version = induk is heavy.. had to trim bars counter..
to see how it behaved on history: need to select scale & wait when new candle open = induk will recalculate all candles on chart...
or faster way = also select scale, press induk's button on/off = induk will be forced to reinitialize...

WS version == here i added separate periods for normalization of Price = nzPeriod.. and for Borders = mmPeriod….
that is.. here period of Index & its Borders is already static.. we need to select/set manually...
to disable normalization = set nzPeriod=0.. disable Borders = set mmPeriod=0 or MinMaxLevel<0… disable Signal = SigPeriod<2..
and this version works much easier = it has standard bar counter…

and i'll tell you terrible secret this is simple Stochastic at price pPrice... and pPeriod, pMode = this is Price smoothing for Stochastic...

otherwise.. it turns out to be another repainting Snake or Hodrick Prescott...
although, Kucher used small repainting for this Average: only 3-4 candles..
however.. even 4 candles can play negative role on higher TFs...

I'm currently exerting a self-perpetual effort to learn mql4 programming language. I have managed to construct a TD Combo source code, but there seems to lurk, still, some issues that shun over the conceptual scope to which my knowledge may reach. The timing technique runs on when selected, nothing however displays throughout the market chart. It could be due to the manner I'm syntactically structuring the Oncalculate underlying logical procedures relating to the Combo_Countdown check part, or the void putcount part functions, or to the primary type-definitional declarations at the onset.
Anyone willing to guide me through this process ? I be as ever grateful to your generosity.

Hi Tankk induk needs a little tweaking vertical line is displaying on last candle of 4hrs , I think the default setting is 4hrs according to the alert received, although it should be on daily candle but it displayed right on daily candle. IF IT DISPLAY ON DAILY CANDLE AND I DECIDE TO CHANGE IT TO 4HRS THE LINE SHOULD BE ABLE TO MARK THE BEGINNING OF THE DAY ON 4HRS BUT IT JUST JUMPED TO THE LAST CANDLE ON 4HRS.THANKS
