It depends. When you get no payout you get a reason or mail with a breach or something like that. That you need to repeat trading on funded account to try it on another payout cycle. In any other case it can take long, very long. Up to 3 or 4 months I heard until you get your requested payout. How long did you wait ? How much is your payout ? Because the higher the more problems you can expect to get it. You know why, because it just an ordinary Ponzi game like on most other prop firms.

In my opinion Topstep's long history in the prop space + fast payments + 5 accounts + EOD trail + no daily limit would easily make them #1 amongst the futures firms, but as you mentioned it's topstepx only. Unless one loves topstepx but for ninja or quantower it sucks as 2 mini is equal to 2 micro on scaling plan. No deals available plus Daily Loss limit.

Their best account size for non topstepx accounts is the 100K with 10 contracts so you can seamlessly transition risk management wise from 1-10 micros into 1-10 minis, but it's also much harder to pass than 50K.

I got my 3 Darwin Index this morning

#1) I will definitely keep this one. The risk adjuetment is at 0.44 which is more than enough for me. This will be strictly for trading UJ. Max trade at 2 lots will be more than enough leverage to attain my monthly goals. Also, at 2 lots max, as my previous experiment verified, I'll be up to 0.7 ish in a couple of montha=s anyways. So absolutely NO issues/concerns about blackbox/VaR/Dleverage.

The only question I have is will I get my allocation at the beginning of September? I specifically started these calibrations in the first week of the month with the goal of finishing with a 75 rating towards the end of the month in hopes of saving on monthly fees. The first time I did DZero I finished the calibration phase with a 75 rating during the first week of a new month and had to dink around for the rest of the month before getting the allocation.

#2) Will keep this one also and trade anything but UJ. Only need about 1% more gain to get rating to 75. Risk adjustment is at 0.33. Again, no problem. 2 lots GBP/USD gives me 0.66 lots. 20 pips gives me $132. 20 days gives me 2.6% for the month. Perfect knowing the risk adjustment will go higher in the future.

#3) Will cancel this one. Would need 3% more for allocation. Easily doable with risk adjustment at 0.42 but I don't want to deal with 3 accounts

Just search for the word recommend or the name of the firm you're interested in.

A few names will pop up regularly but I'm sure not everyone here has had positive experience with all the firms even in the recommended list. You'll need to make the call.
