Only reason for icfunded less hype is that most of the potential customer markets are on their banned countries list like usa, canada etc.........

Btw icmarkets is the BEST in the business... I have used them for 3 years before they kicked canadian out..........

When I got the same mail from them in June and posted it here, some traders here who aren't trading live account with FTMO said all manners of nonsense about it. How could someone be trading 100k account and can't risk 2k on a single trade? I think the whole prop firm especialy FX is become less attractive to me.

Yes, I (have been) posting my Darwin dashboard daily.......not to show off, but for no other reason than to show how it works.....risk engine, what is needed to get allocations, etc, etc.

It is not black and white from my understanding. I think this is still some grey area, there is room for interpretation. It may be the case their lawyers need to fight for it.

If folks have funding with prop fx firms.......keep milking it until it's done
If you are not already funded.....you are absolutely insane to sign up with an fx prop.....trade futures prop ( probably some time left), personal or Darwinex.
The resources (time AND money) you put in will be a complete waste of time with an fx prop at this point.

I have been harping on about FTMO's behaviors for 2 years now, they manage their risk by gentle removal of profitable traders. When their sales drop all of a sudden there are profitable traders with 600k or 1m profit in the leader board gathering hype but no one ever hears from these people in a non promotional way. Lambo raul was the first and it only got worse from there. FTMO are a solid company but don't go full risk with them as they will cut you back as hard as they can. Its same with fundednext and previously TFF keep payout values low and lot size low and it will go forever.

Same with Apex I read. You cannot go all in with all contracts into a trade. You even cannot scale in to the max. contract size you are allowed too. 1 to 2 minis you can.

What do you think of Bernd Skorupinski (mr FTMO leaderboard) with his regular FTMO 6 figure payout claims? Is he a scammer or FTMO considers him marketing spend & let him stay around since he's good for promoting the business?

There is a big difference with APex.... for example for 50k account i.e 2500$ drawdown you get max 10 contracts which will be absurd if any trader uses max contracts on that much drawdown......that means 2.5$ move on gold or 13 points on NQ before you blow the account..... THat is PURE gambling.......

For Bernd this trading is a gimmick. His main income and focus is on selling "his" courses. All info is public available he is selling. He got it from a former floor trader in the USA, he paid $50k he said and he is happy with that amount. That tells me, if anyone is saying that, paying that huge amount, that Bernd had no prior knowledge and mostly he gets sometimes trading signals from this floor trader, thus he can have or show good track record. No way with this 4 indicators you can get that often so good timings. Also his Price Action talk is so basic, I guess, he built not much knowledge since he is trading. He was an engineer at Volkswagen until he dropped out 12 years ago and need a new income source. He found trading is it for him. Then he searched for a good mentor and chose the mentor with the highest price tag. That is his own strategy, and nothing else. Everything is from this floor trader, who I do not know the name, as Bernd is not revealing it (so far). That is his key to success. So Bernd and his course is far overrated. I strongly think, that he is paying and getting trading signals from his former mentor and floor trader from the USA. He is the good trader and not Bernd. I cannot get any other opinion when I listen to him, also his interviews in German language. He also often repeats what you can read all in Elitetrader forum, exactly that way he is talking about. So it looks to me like a monkey and not an independent thinker and trader built from his own experience.

Usually right, but maybe not for a high conviction scalper. Also if you built equity you can or could use it all to scale more because your trailing DD stops trailing at initial capital. That is well thought. As anyone could trade double and multiple that size later especially when some equity above trailing is built up. But You cannot with Apex.
