i totally agree as well..... The point is there is no news in forex prop world anymore.... its just which firm is going down that's it... No new coupons no new product offering as they all are inconsistent in paying traders.... ONly thing interesting right now is futures prop world as competition is growing new players are coming...... New product offering and new coupons..... Atleast few of us regular posters have kept this thread alive with some activity...ANd i like everything drama, other people success, trading whatever you call,......
For me i am not journaling here i dont post entries or anything just the pathway to payout with different firms within minimal time.... My content is mostly for motivation and its actually good for me as well.. AS i have a fear in my mind while trading as in how to face this community which helps me avoid stupid. decisions.....

my personal opinion… i feel those numbers are fake .. i have seen such huge numbers on skilledfunded, fundedengineer n all sorts of firms but never saw anyone paid more than 50k max … so personal opinion
For apex there is a living video proof of multiple streamers who got 300k payouts… i believe what i see apex is the gold standard when it comes to big money and topstep right there as well

ASIC Is Monitoring the Emergence of Prop Trading Firms

In another of our exclusive stories of the week: “The Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) is monitoring the emergence of ‘prop trading’ firms or services relating to CFD trading,” confirmed Dr Rhys Bollen, the regulator’s Senior Executive Leader of the Digital Assets and Markets Group.
“An area for future focus for ASIC is the distribution of CFDs by issuers via emerging channels, such as ‘prop trading’ services. In 2024/25, we plan to undertake detailed surveillance of new and emerging distribution methods across the CFD industry and review consumer outcomes,” shared Dr Bollen.

I thought they have ensured that no one can achieve that again. 600k payout is for FTMO even huge. If they do not payout that, I would like to be informed about.

There was a guy "Dariusz" who had a payout of over $900K from FTMO. He was from USA.
Drawdown is more important than Account Size !

I hope is well with you & your family. Please understand the things I'm about to say are NOT to disrespect you, your trading skills & your postings, but for the life of me I don't understand how you keep up the level of posting you do & trade @ the same time. I AM NOT judging you & you trading skill, but just an observation.

This post by you raises a good question that all traders should consider when jumping into the pro firm arena.

For me I would much rather trade my funds in my own private futures account or trade the funds of a private investor.

I do see much merit to trading on an DarwinX account as it seems to be a true evaluation of the trader's skill with those meeting the criteria are rewarded with investor funds.

For me the best way is trading my own funds & my own rules. From my research & many years in the trading business, prop firms are designed to reward the props owners first & just maybe an occasional trader.

Again Andy, I am NOT being critical of you in anyway, these are just my observations. I read what everyone is posting here & make my own decisions.

I read, two weeks ago, about a guy that had running profits of 900K or so and some days later had lost 200K.
I wonder if that's the same guy. If so it's probably tough to receive because these kind of swings in P&L means a lot of risk involved. Even if he will receive it's likely that they will cut him off.

When I look into this topic i don't see mastermind praising it. On the contrary. In 3 or 4 posts he is was alerting that for problems and in the last posts that they were non responsive.

I may have missed something here but I'm interested in knowing.

Anyway, Mastermind is a dead horse (no offense) for this topic now. He has not been online since march 9th, which was very unusual for him. I DM him two times and got no response either. I guess he gave up and won't visit this any longer.

Two months have passed since I started exploring many prop firms and testing a few. I haven't made any profit yet, with two failed attempts, and now I'm on my third attempt with two different firms. The cost I've incurred is relatively low, totaling lost -$105. A valid question that should be answered before purchasing an account, in my opinion, is whether there will be live trading after the demo phase if get funded? At FundedNext, I couldn't see this because I failed during the 2-step challenge phase. At Darwinex, after the Calibration phase, I also didn't see it, possibly because I haven't secured funding yet. What I know is that Darwinex copies the signals from our trading account after calibration to forward them to (possibly) their broker for live trading.

So if you're trading based solely on the assumption that you'll get paid for being profitable, is that really your live account performance? If not, then the model, as many opinions and experiences from traders in this thread suggest, is just an illusion or a hallucination. How can you expect to make a profit if, after passing the selection process, you're not trading in a live account, and generate profit and your profit payment (if you are profitable) depends on the failure of other traders?

That's why the focus is now directed towards prop firms backed by brokers, with the hope that they have substantial capital to distribute to traders who pass the selection process, and you will be trade in live server, with real fund.

I think we all learn more from failures, especially about what not to do, rather than from success. There's not much to be learned from success.

If you wish to be trading actual investor capital and don't wish to have a real job at a hedge fund.......the ONLY solution is Darwinex.
ALL of the forex props and, I believe, until proven otherwise, ALL of the futures firms are strictly casino models. Fees come in, profitable traders are paid with the fees of the losers.....just like the winning players at blackjack/roulette/craps/slots are paid from the money of the losers. If someone figures out how to cheat or have any kind of an edge at those games, they are banned. If ever the winners exceed the losers, the casino ceases to exist.
The casino props fail due to it being much easier to cheat than a casino AND some folks actually do have an edge to beat the markets. In addition to regulators, Metatrader, etc, etc
So, if you do not care about actually trading "live" funds, the casino props are fine....until they're gone. I made money with the forex props and I make money currently with the futures props as I do not care how I get paid, as long as I get paid.
I am all-in on Darwinex because, as with the fx casino props, at some point (maybe, not sure, model is different) the furtures props will cease to exist as well. I am hoping not, but if so, I will have significant AUM with a regulated entity and yes I will be trading actual investor capital.

Your observation skills haven’t failed you. There’s a valid reason if something doesn’t make sense. Just look at the wild claims.

Now pair that with what he says and none of it makes any sense. A seasoned experienced trader doesn’t speak the way he does. He speaks more like someone who just stumbled into trading, and having a hard time making sense of it.

I knew he was full of when he stumbled onto futures and had no idea what he was doing, in spite of his “many years” as a futures trader, hedge fund, etc.

Over the past few years he’s made a boat load of factual errors, quickly deletes, then goes on hiatus for a few weeks. Only to return with verbal diarrhea.

We start from a bad business model, even though after it grows, not all prop firms may change their minds. It’s similar to the HYIP (High Yield Investment Program) business in 2007, which experienced a boom—those who were quick and lucky made gains. Some traders may have a solid edge, capable of surviving for years, but that’s rare. I only know a few, and they truly have something more than other traders. However, some think like turtle traders, who at one point were able to successfully execute programs created by other experienced traders, and most of these programs were real and successful. Isn’t it wiser to start from something good? Many experienced traders here demonstrate common practices that are mutually agreed upon as good rules for traders, but if you enter a casino-like model from the start, it’s just going to be a joke. Out of 1,000 people entering, only 100 succeed—that’s statistically normal, but the 900 who fail may never be able to recover again. End ruin. It's just a little thought.

At this time of the game I think that everybody understands that in internet props they are playing a videogame where they insert coins and if they are lucky and skilled (and the machine doesn't break in the meantime) the machine will reward back with coins.

If this doesn't feel right I would suggest people to keep away from internet props and look for real props.

The concept is wrong to compare. In video games, there's not much about luck; it's more about skill. In trading, you can never know when you'll get lucky, even if you have excellent skills, because of the random nature of the market. Some of us might have learned one or two safe betting strategies mathematically (such as the Kelly criterion), but not many understand it, including myself. A casino is a random process, not a video game. The market falls into the category of speculation theory with behavioral elements. The machine has been broken for a long time. In the end, it all comes down to how much has been spent as "trading capital" (all-time) and how much profit has been made (all-time). I don't trust anything without a complete track record that can be verified. It's okay to trust, but always verify. At one point, we might win a lot, and at another, we could go back to zero.
