I still have a strategy with Darwinex but I haven't traded it for years cause when I did the maths, I found out it's really not worth the hassle. Maybe I am missing something about the rules/alocations/percentage profits. Can anyone trading with them do the maths to give us some estimate of potential payouts?

I don't think that's correct. I literally asked Darwin support two days ago whether I must trade each of the 15 days and they told me
"No, it is not compulsory to open positions all days during calibration phase, just open the one suits your strategy"

This is true, but then your calibration will take longer than 15 days.

During the calibration stage, you must complete the following requirements:

  1. 25 Risk-Equivalent Trading Decisions: You need to accumulate 25 representative trading decisions.
  2. 15 Trading Days: You must trade for a minimum of 15 days.

There is no requirement in terms of return; the system just needs enough information (measured by the number of trades and trading days) to be able to create the DARWIN.

All of the serious potential is in building the track record and achieving gold status...this is when your Darwin is opened up to investors. Sure, you can make a couple hundred per month in silver, but that is not what the program is about.
I built FTMO,MFF, TFTP and TFF....spent 3 years doing so........I have nothing.
If I hit even 20% of the targets that were required with the above firms, I will be managing 10 million minimum with Darwin in 2 years.
15% of 2% monthly on 10 million or 90% of zero?
It's not even a close comparison. Not to mention, I trade as I wish without fear of new rules, denied payouts, rug pulls, etc, etc.

hey roels...... thanks for the reply..... you most likely are correct.....

i had considered the date format but ruled it ruled it out because the trading days would not be correct in navak's wife account..... unless i do not know darwins definition of trading day.....

in my case, i have never been outside the states in my life..... and my server at the time of signing up should have been in dallas texas..... can't recall it ever being outside the states or why it would ever be..... for sure i signed up on 8/1/24.....

have no idea where darwins servers would be nor how they determine where i am..... seems like something is incorrect..... not sure what.....

in any event, you must be correct...... thanks......h

Mine says 22/06/2023....meaning June 22, 2023. I must have created a user name and password when they began this program but never joined at that time.
Is it possible this is the case with you as well?

I said his dashboard will see darwin after 10 days. he can trade go vacation or do anything. I ddint say one needs to trade. I said darwin index will be created on Monday. Please ask customer care one thing if I trade 1 NQ with 20 pip stops for 15 straight days like robot what will be my risk factor if you get answer I will quit trading. Dont come up with jargons like Volatility, risk factor, liquidity pool, Fair value gaps....I want exact number if you trust their customer care.

For example, if you receive an allocation of 300k and consistently achieve a gain of only 5.95% per month for three months, this means an accumulated gain of 18.93%, which amounts to 56.79k. Then, you get a performance fee of 15%, which means 8519.25. The costs incurred for, say, 5 months are 190 Euros minus an 18 Euro discount. There is no risk of not getting paid as in other firms, plus there are no complicated rules. If there is a firm or broker offering such an opportunity with very low profit targets and low costs, I would be willing to pay. Of course, the MT4 platform should be available.

Now which MT4 prop firm offer 30k to 100k account such low prices without complicated rules? None so far. Nada.

Addition.
So, if the rule is for an account with a minimum of 30K, I will pay. The prop firm or broker can exploit the test price, commissions, and get 1/3 of the profit generated by the trader. Provide a one-month test period, which they can also exploit. This means both parties benefit, rather than just hoping the trader will fail. The criteria remain strict but achievable. Realistic. This example is taken from the Prop Firm 1 Step Challenge, 25K, which offers MT4. Currently, there are only two prop firms, FundedNext and Nordic Funder. Only then can they compete with Darwinex.

I was just curious if it was higher than the 3% because with such a large drawdown I would have assumed your risk was adjusted down. I guess you'll see where you're at on Monday.

Exactly. Same here for the MFF, FTMO and others and the rules that exist today and the ucertainty of payouts.
But there is another thing to consider even for Silver . Each month your rating score is easier to maintain (under assumption that you can stay profitable month after month no matter how low % gain). And so it is easier to grow to higher allocation. So after 4th month you can continue with constant 240k (60+60+120) per account with 2% average monthly gain. And if you have 3 accounts this is then 720k allocation with 15% profit split which is the same as 105% profit split on a 100k prop account or 52.5% profit split on a 200k account (minus rules, minus payout denial danger). And you are not even in Gold status where things get much more interesting.

New month just started and already in the money...and it has only been 2 trading days.... room to climb the rating for the rest of the month. Easier after only 1.5 months ...one can only asume how much easier it gets after 4 months....

Yes, I was doing great, but the income producing assets (the accounts) are now gone.......I have no AUMs remaining........CFTC shut one down, 2 are out of business and one no longer accepts US customers plus they moved me onto some shit platform so I just stopped trading with them.
So 3 plus years of work and time and you should have an asset(s) that will continue to pay.

Return can easily be calculated (pic), example as seen in Fisher's post #40,177 above, exactly the same. Mine would be 2,19% for July and 0,90% for August so far, overall 3,11%. However, there is No Drawdown per month statistics provided by Darwinex, which makes it difficult to calculate before inputting into the Calculator. I am waiting for the account to be created on the 5th so that the drawdown for the periods of July and August can be seen.

Since 1st August, I have returned to a conservative risk adjustment of 0.33% per trade, with only one or two trades open simultaneously.

ok its official that i do not like airports or planes anymore. no more travel no more work. Time to return to my owls.

There are about 15???????? brokers trying to get into prop right now. 0 of them will accept US and some of them are very large
