Mental stop is completely acceptable.

Moving a physical stop loss as price moves against you is not acceptable which is hilarious because we all know that no one would EVER move their mental stop as price moves against them. Possibly the dumbest rule in the business.

It is but i dont use stop loss as well coz of bracket not available on tradovate... But i make sure i dont go beyond 1:2 RR

ANother BS days.... Again loser in asian session

1.Apex daily target n more thanks to down move.... captured huge moves
2. Good Bye to Myfuturesfunded Accounts...
3. Topstep daily Loss limit hit - Today crossed the 3k profit target but i forgot need to make 2200$ more in order to pass. SO tried a homerun trade and lost. Still have 1700$ drawdown but need to make 3.5k

NEXT PLAN OF ACTION. - 2750$ payout on apex on 1 Aug. Purchase 4x50k Apex evals and MFFutures 3x50k. GOing slow n steady not wanna rush witht too many evals then i lose them pretty fast and do revenge buying nuke more evals...

Still goal for august to 20x50k APex (ONlY 1 NOW), 3x50k Mffundedfutres, 5x50k topstep (In progress).

It got way more expensive. Previously it was 40% off with no PA fees. Now only 50% off with refund (which only happens if one reaches to withdrawal limt).

Considering the purchase of a static account with them.

I did early last year, made it thru to the 5k payout and then bailed. Wasn’t interested in a live account. I already have my personal amp futures.

They were fine.

I am not promoting any firm but why not go with any popular end of day drawdown firm.... Its the same thing but less cheaper than tradeday..... Some even give more drawdown.......

Finally a winner asian session after 4 losers

1. Apex - Daily tp hit done for the day.
2. Topstep - 5x50k combine officially crossed 3000$ target infact 4000$ but guess what STILL NEED TO MAKE 1200$ more to PASS PURE BULLSHIT....

Man I am 50k evals passing champ... That'll glorious if pass these evals that means... with 2k drawdown pulled 5200$ profit in order to pass..

Regarding Apex and that nexusfi c++ developer incident posted earlier. Apparently they straight up denied his videos as not suitable evidence and refuse to pay him unless he adheres to their "new" requests. 70k USD they paid out to him then the ban hammer happened. Congrats to everyone who gets more than that amount from them.

Glownode has always been involved in shady practices. Never tested them but they seem to be going defiantly down. Trust pilot already 3.5 and a lot of payout denials recently.

What does Apex expect to see in such a video ? If someone is showing his trading, why is that not enough ?Anyone ?

If you read his previous posts, he never made “70k”. He had a previous payout last month, after asking how payouts work.

The videos he posted were more convoluted than anything.

I’ve pulled far more from apex without any problems.

My funded account on FXIFY banned on 29th July. After I emailed them they answered today:

"We regret to inform you that despite a secondary review conducted by our senior risk team, the decision regarding the breach of your account remains unchanged. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide you with the exact reason for this breach as previously mentioned.
The refund has been issued for the account in question. Additionally, we have also refunded your account for account no: X.
Please see the attached copy.
Your live account, number X, will remain unaffected by this decision.
You are welcome to continue trading on this account without any interruptions.
Your understanding and cooperation is greatly appreciated in this matter."

=> From first Email: (If you are wondering what is previously mentioned reasons)
"Thank you for your email. We cannot give specifics towards why a trader is rejected.
We can however tell you that the things we reject for are:
- Latency Arb (low and high frequency)
- HFT latency arb EAs
- Hedging between accounts.
If we give specific reasons to people, it allows people to find ways to mask what we have identified.
We've had thousands of traders join us and to date, we have denied less than .5% of people a live account."


With today's email FXIFY banned my challenge account too. And also they banned me from their Discord. I found this a bit too much.
Right now I have a funded account with them that I passed long time ago. I am eager to see what happens next. I shared my trading history of the account that banned on 29th July on this thread before(I have traded for 2 months/never risked more than %1.71) and I can tell you that they have some hidden things going on. As a final note I must say that I found .5% claim a bit too bold.

You do not learn how to trade in a bank. If you have $50k together you do not need to work there just trade for yourself. It only make sense to work in a bank until you have at least $10k or $20k together for your own trading account. Usually personal trading is not allowed when you work in a bank and trade for them. They only allow investing or longer term orientated positions on your own personal account outside bank. But this is only for trading positions and related ones.
