Trading is 90% about psychology and 10% about Techincal but very few people understand this, Techincal indicators are just based on maths so i personally don't pay attention much to it.
What I experienced is this personal law:

I started trading consistently succesfully once I reached a breaking point, after more than 12 years trial & more errors.... : that the pull, the compulsion of greed and quick massive profit, is now less than the intention of preserving capital/equity and minimizing my losses.

Hi Barry,

Totally agree with your #1 post because thanks to UF methodology I understand how market works, profitable and recently turn to fulltime really get into my nerve for sometime before getting back the right rhythm.

I hope that you can continue this thread objective in "Trading Truth" as I find this is very interesting to share regardless any trolls around, somehow I felt bad for those have not develop the mindset "be like water" to be profitable in the market.

I read that you have developed an EA to scan markets, I'm working out to increase my lot size so my prep work is done manually through testing and tweaking VBA spreadsheet to assist which currency to focus, pair selection and setup filtration. I'm looking forward to learn about EA and transfer use of spreadsheet into EA to notify my trade preparation (scanning) as well. Appreciate if there is any reference to code an EA to apply UF parameters.

Worldly truths...

In all competition, in the universal spectrum of order, there is loss and win. The way to lose, is you're a loser, and you're always kicked to the bottom, while you're a loser. It's an unfair result for something that is supposedly fair, and therefor should give an even distribution of loss and win. When you win, it's usually in dominant fashion. The consistency of the top players.

You have to discover how a life that is supposedly fair to you, can be so cruel. To find gratitude and faith, when all you experience is turmoil, disease and ignorance.

We met at Koh Samui 2018.

Momentum is a two way sword and must have context behind it. I trade D/W with trades from 1H/4H TF. My view is momentum is overrated in my trading time frames. The"big boy" manipulates momentum to"advertise" the wrong direction. This is something of VON RESTORFF effect.

I agree with almost all the other points. I am into trading full time now, after hanging on to UF's coat tails for nearly 4 years. The separation was required to enable myself to grow beyond the basics. While it is good to have a fall back net as in UF, it is of utmost importance to grow out of it, as well. This separatio has helped me grow. Thanks anyway for the "baby feeding"us at KS.

Hi Barry
its good to see you tried to provide value to the trading society and it feels very sad to see you getting attacted by the general in this tread. Of course the terms and vocaburary you use, people are not going to understand. You can talk about thinking process all day long they won't understand. Price action is a very defficult laguage to learn because of the human psychology is involved which is already very complicated to bigin with. And even after that there is no such thing called 100%. So, That's why it is a 95/5 game. Bacause the knowledge is already there in the internet but very few can execute the concept.
until you realize that the price vibrates almost randomly, it is difficult to plan.
just think about why it is so hard to be a profitable trader in the long run.
you can not predict the markit but have to ability react accordingly..

please sir continue with this teaching and pay no attention to those who don't want to learn, most of us are here to learn and you just stopped because of his skeptism talking about autoface, please continue with the Real value you were giving, you know why? we don't see those kind of insights out here in the retail space, please sir I hope you continue when you see this post.

I've already learnt some new ways of thinking in the truths you told earlier, continue sir, you're appreciated
