They dont need to know how you think, because they know where all your trades are. The algorithms just force price to those areas to liquidate retail traders. Back in the day it was good ol fashioned manipulation done by the same man that entered your trade for you, man to man

I don't think you should be calling folks silly, we are all learning here. Though I agree, Gold is showing no signs of dropping from a technical perspective in the weekly, daily and 4h charts anyways.

Trade what you see and not what you think. When going into uncharted territory, think of bitcoin, how easily it went up multiple times when it broke the previous high. Gold is looking for new equilibrium and noone knows where it is, the only information we have is 2500 as round number and ~2290 as confirmed support.
