That's like the biggest futures trading forum (ex bigmiketrading, high on ninja) together with elitetrader...

You are probably not very seasoned in futures so you don't know it.

Just trying to reinstate the guys status because you mocked his 19 posts and the others followed you; most of you guys here know futures only for the past year because fx prop firms failed and you had to move to future props, so check your sources better.

I was in Meta but was moved to ctrader this morning.

In EURUSD and GBPUSD, which is what I mostly trade, spreads are 0.4 / 0.8, not fantastic.
Execution up to 5 lots is not significant. About 0.1 or 0.2 (London session out of news time).
Commissions in Meta were $2 per lot. Now in ctrader it's my first trade but they charged $1 per lot (still running) so I believe another $1 per lot will be charged on the close, as it's usual in ctrader, matching it with the $2 per lot they were charging in Meta.

It's a fundamental wrong principle from them.

Having it in Discord, twitter. etc. it's me who has to find the information. Everyday I need to go to ALL firms, trying to find out if anything changed overnight.

If email is used, the information comes to me, not me coming after the information.

I am not a fan of receiving email as i get so many of them from so many places and sometimes unwanted places but i also do not like social media, call me on the rotary please

Outlook for the compensation of losses:
- a flat rate of 0.5% of the initial balance, payable after clearing ...
- later migration to MT5 if desired
- if you wish account termination, allowed if equity/balance > initial numbers

It's a bit unfair to force people to use ctrader when they signed up for meta.

On the other side, if they allowed everybody to be refunded, anyone with a drawdown, special deep draw down, could ask a refund and purchase a new fresh challenge.

A third solution would be to allow refund to anyone but prevetnt people from purchasing any future ctrader challenge, which probably they don't want.

Not ideal solutions here.

OK, I received now the email from Peaks


If you were effected by the Metatrader migration to C-Trader please pay attention to the following:

• All phase accounts will receive a balance increase of 0.5% of initial balance as compensation
• All funded accounts will receive a balance increase of 0.2% of initial balance as compensation
• If you have an account that is break even or better and wish to have a refund please fill in this form
• Traders who do not wish to use C-Trader but need to keep their account can freeze their account until a MT5 option is available a new form will be distributed for this when things are complete

FP now communicates quickly (2nd email today) and clearly and focused.
It is unclear when the repayments will come. The 0.5% is also debatable (my view).
I lost more then this. (100K, building a hedged pyramid = expected main swing price development + (partially redeemed) pending orders with expected retracements.
But fuck. Things happen---> compromise, but hopefully better communication soon.
Back to work whats really to do: work with contracts as seen. I would also prefer MT4, but which broker is now joining in with this MT4 license problem?
The problem that keeps coming up is MQ4 I think. I suspect a mixture of the owners' desire for progress (MQ4 is outdated) and political ties between the USA and Russia - who is dominant in the conglomerate council?
Seems you don't buy the car as seen, you can just imagine the wheels gone... And if the rear-view mirror is missing, the police come or your losses.

i think metatrader will be fixed for all props being legitimate soon. there are some rumors metaquotes have granted permission to some overseers of props. unfortunately eightcap is one of them
