Most firms want traders to contact support for issues anyway and already heavily-restrict so much as it is. Allowing traders to come together and rally against the firm when there are issues is like adding fuel to the fire and is not worth the trouble or resources; it usually just slows things down and makes things worse.

-There is no way that they are going to make everything right and pay everyone that is owed money. But even so, I bet that some people will still give them their money.

On the other side, if there is multiple people saying that they can't open or close a trade it's an early sign that something is wrong.
I can spend an entire week without going to Discorde I hate that. However, if something is wrong I use to go there to see if someone is experiencing the same (which usually is the case). On those times is virtually impossible to contact support because they're sunk with so many people's requests. In that sense Discord is a good thing because I realize that the problem exists and that they are aware of it.

But I understand and agree with what you're saying. It's s thin line.
