A nice and clutter-free chart that will greatly help with your analysis. One thing to note about the sessions indicator is to ensure that the market start time is in sync with your broker time. So if your broker is 2 hours ahead then for example London session starts at 08:00 AM but in the indicator you would put London opens at 10:00 AM, that is 2 hours ahead as your broker would be.

So check your broker time: it's very important.

New York Market closed. Now three hours before Asia Market opens.

Where will XAU USD now go? Asia session is generally low liquidity market, occasionally it makes a good price movement but seldom.

Asia open same hour NY closes. Currencies first......Gold and shares one hour later. gold is trading now, has been for 20 minutes. Some brokers dont show it....they use the time for their own purposes....

Gold is seasonally down in june, Averaging .3% over last 20 years, but also lows running into early July.
Right now sitting at just under $2327.46 which is the monthly open price for June.
Early July is seasonall peak low....

but again. 4h is downtrend and an OB on 2288-2298 stand like a rock.

if I investigate weekly, in case bears planning a major drop, better it start today, and better the OB will take out and weekly close by margin below it.. lets say 2270?

this is not a trade recommendation.

P.S, they must harry up with the drop,.. summer is here and war is around the corner in the Middle East and maybe far east

i do that in Python and Specially R
i keep track,
and always go back to my memory palace to remember my mistakes,
that is how i keep my self in check.

anyways i dont just trade gold i trade 17 currency pairs including, USDMXN USDZAR USDNOK USDSEK,

no offense please but trust me you cannot learn from demo accounts,
i worked for Investment company for 5 years,
i learned from them,
because its not real money,
traders tend to make moeny almost 70% make money in Demo account,
reason?
no Emotions,
No fear of loosing money,
you keep positions open for long time and make big profits,
but if you just put even 100$ you will see the difference,
emotions always come into play,
and that is what you need to learn,
everyone here has tried demo and maybe got good results,
but with real money it will be very different,
to be honest its all phycological,
if you want to buy or sell any currency trust me charts are like that, you will find a reason,
internet is full of it also bloody,
some analyst says it will go down some will say it will go up,
market is designed that way to confuse the traders,
so big boys can make money,
if after 13 years you are still trading in demo
i wonder when you will stat live and,
few months is enough to learn the technical its easy,
problem is understanding fundamentals and navigate through a ton of analysis thrown at us,
market is always confusing it will be it has been that way since the beginning,
at least since i started.

I agree with you.
1.Demo account and real account have lot of difference.
2. Most of the time analysis go opposite the market. Only 20% go in right direction.

Hi MAchoudhry,

Thank you, I have replied to your message.

I totally agree with the notion to trade a demo account as really no emotion is attached.

Price movements do go opposite to one's set up and analysis and can be called a whipsaw; that is, the tail of the candle triggers your pending order and then suddenly moves in the opposing direction after completely taking you out. And this is why risk management is very important and placing your stop loss order.

we are little bit different then you,
not trading with higher lots but making good enough profit in GOLD,
as i said i trade many many other pairs
see the results.

IMHO if break the yesterday high

Gold will go to R1 at 2340 ish and after that will see
Dream, believe,fight for it and you will achieve and NEVER EVER GIVE UP!
