I Imagine this happening next week, or so I hope, as the hot NFP news did make gold drop (even though market didn't react much to the higher unemployment rate), but the market should be keen on buying at this lower level (strategic buyers) and the geopolitical tensions will keep it bouyant, and some retracement is healthy Thanks Hulk!

Theres nothing wrong with having an expectation of a likely scenario......if you enter blindly on that and become wedded to that position thats differnt. But Its ceratinly likely a retracement will take place after the big move and Hulks chart to me is perfectly plausable.
Of course the market will have the last say

The correct analysis of the chart you have shown is only to expect a drop once the neckline brakes.
Otherwise its just going to bounce off the resistance as it has multiple times before, not unexeptedly thats what it did.
You cant judge the principle of having expectations based on analysis, by using incorrect analysis.
In any event no one ever enters a trade without having an expectatuon
