exactly what I said yesterday. let it jump 30 dollars underlying trend does not change which is to the downside for now. Today's china news coupled with NFP has all but sealed in the top for gold now. gold will start rallying again once we factor in 1st rate cut

I have said this before and let me reiterate. china and india both are hesitant to buy gold at prices close to 2400 unless there is massive devaluation of dollar which I dont see happening in near term. gold's 60% rally is due to china buying on the worry that when they attack taiwan one day US may sanction them and they are accumulating gold for safety. but they are also hesitant in buying gold at these prices

I don't understand your SL placement, is it purely based on 'cash' you are willing to loose? Because i would have placed it at 2319 for this trade. Just curious..

Either way sl would have been hit , yes ,my goal is to enter counter trend position with 30 pip risk and try to refine my entry point ,
my problem today is which i dont have patience and market is punishing me ,
