Slow n steady asia....

Picked the bottom of the range nicely for some profits.

1. For topstep 3x150k combine - Passsed the threshold so trailing will stop from here.
2. For 3x150k myfundedfutures - Important week payout date at friday so aiming conservatively 800-1000$ a day to pull max 4500$ each account while leaving a nice cushion behind.

More: a consistently loser trader (in real account) can still make money consistently in a prop. There's not better signal that this is a troubled industry.

Taskid was talking about gaming the system, that's why I replied. We should distinguish what is gaming the system and what is cheating. And gaming can be made more difficult with some rules but props are too lazy (or too afraid) of doing that.

No need to fight about AMP Margin.
AMP has, most of the time, very low margins. During some events they increase significantly, which is normal.
I called it restrict because it's a decrease of leverage. I think you all know what I meant even if I didn't express myself correctly.
(they send the emails increasing margin and then, usually about 18 to 20 minutes after the event, they send another email saying that margin goes back to the normal low amount)

I'm not so optimistic. I have not gone into the details of these new programs but I trust what Takisd said that they are probably easy to game as well.

Interesting. I trade the JPY pairs in the asian range. So I checked Dow. It seems to me like nothing really happens there during the asian - unless you go into a very small timeframe like 1 minute. That is on the other hand very interesting.

so much reviews but no one on youtube talks about them. Offering Seems decent. Also there are multiple promotions if you check the FAQ's. Seems like alright except they dont have tradovate.
Btw personal opinion website looks ugly not professional at all same like TFT.

Your favorite Alpine Trader himself talked about this website in some of his videos I remember because I was searching difference & explanation about trailing drawdown & static drawdown, so alpine trader explained very well and he talked about this in his video,

I will check this website when I will give a try to futures trading

I am taking 25k Starter Plan here for example
I have Target = 1,500 $
I have Tick EOD Drawdown = 1,500 $
I have Daily Loss = 500 $



What is Tick Drawdown, EOD (End of Day) Drawdown for example in TickTickTrader ?

In my understanding it is safety buffer in which your profitable trade can travel without violating drawdown rules.
Suppose I have opened a trade & it was a good one, it went into my favor to almost 1,500 $ of profit
but don't know why the market just crashed back & closed in B/E.
I am still safe not violating drawdown rules because it is static drawdown
& to violate it I need 1,500 $ unrealized profit + 1,500 $ Stop loss = 3,000 $ overall loss to violate


What is Trailing Drawdown in Apex ?

ANOTHER CONFUSION, WHAT IS DAILY LOSS = 500 $ in this example?? & DO IT AFFECTS TICK DRAWDOWN??

Suppose I have closed my 1st trading day with 490 $ loss, 10 $ buffer left so that not violating Daily Loss rule of 500 $
So my question is this 490 $ now going to be used in reducing the Tick Drawdown limit from 1,500 $ to now only 1,010 $
or the Tick Drawdown limit remains the same no matter whether your account balance is reduced by some loss or increased by some profit

talking once is not worth it (plus alpine not fav) he talks about alot of BS firms lately like precisionfunding n all. PLus none of them actually using it that was my point most talked/used about are the ones like topstep, apex, myfundedfutures, takeprofittrader, elitefundedtrader, e2trade etc. There are also uprofit, blusky, tradeday, leelotrading, flexytrade etc they talk about it but hardly seen anyone using it.

For Daily Drawdown - If you hit the loss you'll be stopped from entering the trade again for the day atleast what topstep does. So it'll remove the loss from the drawdown. In your example 1,010$ what it is going to be.

This Video made my life easier.
I got some answers like:
why would some person choose futures prop firms over forex prop firms?
why what's the need of going to futures prop firms?

I think I can try futures prop firms as well.
Because I see the charts of instruments I like to trade
& They are almost similar its just I have to see them on tradingview

I will start trading futures prop firms from mid 2024 year or 2025
May be the cost of futures prop challenges will get more then
but I can't start now, I have to gather some capital first which I don't have at present

There is no nuance to that. I don't really care if someone is cheating using intelligent methods with props. But I am not going to fluff it up and argue semantics.
