Hi, i wonder if you could help me to "speed up" an EA. It opens buy/sell order when button is pressed and then puts 2 additional limit orders at the inputed distance.

Thing is sometimes it takes quite a time from the first opened market order, to placing the limit orders (sometimes 2 seconds, sometimes 14, if ea is being used during prolonged sessions it takes more, like it is storing data and that slows down the ea or something) and i would like to know if it is possible to reduce that time, the logic is not very complicated so i dont see why it shouldnt be done quickly.

Have you considered, it could be your brokers order executing time that actually could be the problem and not the EA?

Have you tried another broker and see the same?

But then it should happen all the time right? for example i open mt4 and attach ea and works ok (maybe 1 second from when i push the button to limit order placed) but after hours it takes more time. So if closing and opening it again makes it faster, i think it is not the broker but the ea.

i assume i must have downloaded from all old thread in FF, I cant find new thread anymore
i tried one from mathtrader7 is either it hang my chart during news or it stopped working after few days

This EA doesn't put any Limit orders!
It puts Stop orders.

I moved the open pending function to the button section.

What dots???
The indicator which you refer to doesn't plot any dots.
The issue must be caused by some other indicator, not this one.
I don't see any issues with this one.

No not necessarily.

First you have to find out if it's the EA or your broker.

If you try on another broker and you see the same it's not the broker. It most be the EA.

This the logic way of find out where the problem is.

Is it the EA or not? That is the first thing you have to find out. Otherwise people are wasting their time on trying to fix something that is not the issue. (the EA)

The first market order is placed by button click.
In the original posted by @ffss the pending orders were executed on the next call in OnTick();
This could effect in some delay, like no ticks, or whatever.
I moved the pending order execution to the same place as the market order (the button).
This should fix the issue.

hello I would like to know if anyone has already coded a script or an indicator or an EA that modifies a hard stop when the transaction is going in the right direction with your trade. EX if I place a loss stop of 100 pips and the transaction has a gain of 30 pips in the right direction...the stop loss is reduced by the same amount (100-30= 70 pips)
different from a trailing stop which activates after a certain number of pips ex: but at 38000.00 and trailing actived at +3000 pipsif the market reach 38030... now the trailing is actived.

The reason is the coding method used by the coder.
This code does ArrayResize() pretty often, and this operation strongly influences the code performance.
It should be avoided any time it can be avoided!

Can someone please explain why this indicator has 2 Histograms, I am using histogram 2 for a 2 min HA candle. what does histogram 1 do or is it there for.

Mr. Bestrader EV. You are so kind to the indicator that I attached has a High-Low volume counter. Would it be possible to put one more counter with the differential? Which automatically divides the maximum-minimum volume. Make it possible, if you wish, for it to also change color when the mathematical calculation is more buyers than sellers or vice versa. Excuse the translation. Thank you very
