He says if price slides down people will hold their loosing long trades. And probably this will cause in loosing more money.

In that case hedge is the way to go but for that to work you shouldn't be trading with lots that give migraines on your equity.

Hedging can also give migraines as you have still active trades that are nothing then lost trades. If you did not put sl at the start of the trade then hedging is easier then closing the position.

Hanzohas said it : only boss traders can close their loosing positions (early closing).

Also a little late closing in that sense, just accepts some loss before it really escaletes.
That is much much easier if you are a consistent winner. Then you don't care much about a little set back.
