I have found some news that Israel brought his forces back to attack another place in Rafah where there are 1.5 million Palestinians. Maybe buyers have better news about this issue.

this is not related to earthquake news rather a news on Bloomberg which says China PBOC have bought gold for 17th straight month. it may be both combination of Israel news and PBOC. definitely Japan earthquake has got nothing to do with this. now I really wish a war happens otherwise when market comes to reality all this well end bad. 2350 is absolute madness in gold

Today we either go back to like 229X or we go to 2360 or higher.

Why? This up move that high early in the day means that there is no real money to be harvested at the higher end when EU/ US session start, so (most probably) they will make money on the downside.

So price will fall. I would expect a 229X as I said.

After that it may go higher, like really higher - 2360 or higher.

On hourly there is a structure that should bring the price to 2410 first and 2500 to 2600 after. This is why this fall from 2330 to 2305 surprised me, I did not count on it.

NOTE: I was short at 2330 closed half the shit at 2315 and another half at 2325 or something (was sleeping). Now I am short 0.06 starting with 2348 I think. Will load up another round of shorts at 2360-2366 and a 3rd round of (real) shorts at 2400-2410 (if we ever get there, not today though).

only issue with this move is 50 dollar move in Asia will be rubbished without the participation of US and Europe. they will either reverse this whole move or they will make the shorter at 2350 look miserable by taking to 2380-2390

Don't you think that a 100 USD move in gold for one day would be excessive even for this pair??

There will be no invasion, no big event today so this would be kinda over the top...

can you tell me where gold will close at London bank closing? don't try to be an expert when you are not. trading is always abt possibilities. right now gold is up. look did you expect it to be at 2350 when we were at 2302. so anything is possible in gold nowadays. anything below 2302 now is a short and valid short as well. anything above this is no trade zone until u are gunning for 2500

Yes, a part of me expected to go to 2330 - that was the absolute high for Friday. I also expected to go back to 2992 after that and it did not go back down Friday. Then during the week-end I studies the pair a little bit and I was expecting to go up in a straight line to 2360. It did not go, it went back down to 2305 - and this makes all the difference.

It is 45 USD between 2305 to 2350. Going to 2360 it is 55 USD, going to 2366 USD is 60 pips. There is a 10% chance that we go to 2366USD and a 1% chance to get to 2375 USD.

Total day movement would be 60 USD for 2366 and 70 USD move for 2375. Check and the history and see how many days went up that much and if at the end they were green or red days...

it does not matter what happened in the past? so many wars and terrorist attacks didn't happen in the past? interest rates being so high happened way back in 80's era. so dont compare it with the past movements. they are irrelevant
