please any trader here rather than press on new order button, manually use hotkey from the computer keyboard to place buy, sell and close trade?
the script to hotkey method is not reliable

There is a problem I didn't consider.
When using the ChartApplyTemplate() function, unfortunatelly the Algo Trading permissions are denied for the program, for safety reasons, and

Which requires a number of additional clicks.
Which means that using a button to attach the EA will always create this issue, and there is no programming way to avoid this.

I can do that. Add a button to the EA, and while the button is Off, the EA will not trade.
It doesn't need to be removed from the chart.

everyone talks about the price....no one about the Time.
the most obvious cycle is the two-day cycle divided into 2 cycles of 1 day or 3 shorter cycles. Sometimes even the 2-day cycle "disappears" and when this happens you need to see the higher cycles, i.e. 4 or 7/8 days . it is normal that each cycle, from the smallest to the largest, has a certain TIME WINDOW within which it ends. For example on the 1 minute chart, the standard 30 minute cycle goes from a minimum of 22 bars to a maximum of 32.

the graph below is AUDUSD 15min chart and as you can see it created a lot of problems for me during the cycles....so then I decided to see the upper cycle.....and as if by magic the 7th appeared.. .coincidentally!
everything is cyclical... even our life... and therefore the financial markets are also cyclical; the problem is that it is not a "linear" cyclicality but has a different nature.
normally I understand that the TIME WINDOW corresponds to 25% of the cycle itself and I'll stop here as I don't want to become boring

So we said Vinesh's indicator was crap but yesterday it said TP of today where Xauusd is. So it was wrong for SL but correct for TP. Very interesting.

Ok, so I followed the code and created the Button.
However, I am totally confused on how this is all working.
In the code, when the first Buy is opened, there is a variable (CloseEA) which is set to value 1.
This variable executes the CK_Chiusura_EA() function.
This means that in the original version the EA was removed from the chart.
In my version the Button is set to Off, and the EA does not execute the code.
When you explained the idea of the EA, you said that it was "disabled" when all the trades were closed.
So, I really don't understand.

I also can see that this code is a lot of mess.
Someone took a code from different EA and used it to create this one, it looks like that.

Anyways, test it and see if it's ok or not?

If you read carefully what you have written in your post, I mean very carefully, many times, you might finally understand that what you wrote means exactly that there are no fixed cycles which we can rely on. It's just your imagination and confirmation bias. Please learn what confirmation bias is!
First you say "it is obvious", and in the next sentence you say "Sometimes even the 2-day cycle "disappears"".
Those two are contradictory - so You need to listen more carefully to Your own words - how they contradict.

You are interpreting this wrong.
The indicator wasn't wrong or correct about anything.
The indicator didn't know anything, so it couldn't be wrong or correct.
The indicator was only showing whatever it was showing, and the price only did what it did.
One has absolutely nothing to do with the other.
The indicator has no causality on what the price does.
And, what the price does later has no causality on what the indicator showed.

Someone took a code from different EA and used it to create this one...yes you are right,my friend he copied another one of ours and it was similar to this one...you're a fox... nothing escapes you!!:)

regarding the 2-day cycle, I meant that it is not the most obvious one but the most identifiable in the short term

problem:
1)button is on
2)ea enters the position and the button becomes off but by doing so the ea is no longer able to sell
3) the button must become OFF after all positions have been sold

Yes, but I wrote about this in the previous post.
I didn't change anything in the original code - I only used the already existing functions to operate the button.
I will take a look, of course.

Line 421 there is the function void PrimoIngresso() .
This translates to FirstEntry .
Line 441 sends the request for the position and checks for errors.
From Line 442 to Line 458 sets the variables if order was successfull (no errors).
In Line 451 we read CloseEA=1; - and when CloseEA = 1
in Line 452 fGVS("_CloseEA",CloseEA);
This sets the GlobalVariable to the value 1.
And when CloseEA=1; the EA executes Line 398

Yes, it can display any instrument and any chart. Up to 30 mini charts.

Hi all

I have an idea for a reversal indicator that is based on the fractal indicator with an option for there to be more than 5 candles for a fractal if required
Basically it is based on the previous opposite bullish or bearish fractal candle.
It is based on BestTraderEv's script that draws a rectangle on a candles high/low and extends it to x amount of candles. What we do is place a rectangle that extends the range of the previous opposite bullish or bearish fractal candle and places that rectangle on the current highest lowest candle.
So if the previous bullish/bearish fractal candles range is 10 pips and the current highest/lowest candle is 8 pips we add a 10 pip range rectangle on top of current lowest/highest candle and wait for a break of the high/low of rectangle

Was wondering if anyone is an eliott wave expert. These are settings from an indicator. Was wondering what would be an ideal setting for 1hr timeframe.

EW is a very complex topic - most people practising this idea can never agree which wave is which.
Of course, everything becomes clear only after the facts - when we already can see the chart.
There are no ideal settings for any timeframe for an indicator.
You need to ammend the parameters as the graph (chart) changes.
Which, in my opinion, makes the EW idea redundant.
It's just another confirmation bias fallacy.

You need to understand one very importatnt thing which most people seem to ignore:
All of those theories of Price Action are scientifically unsupported ideas, and nothing else, they are not scientific theories.
Any personal evidence of one or another person having success with this or that method, is not scientific evidence that the method is in any way the cause of their success. It is only evidence that the person has been successful, and not any generalisation.
