I think the same, for me number 1 is prop firms and then my ibkr and amp futures accounts, i will be closing my ic markets as i dont feel safe in the offshore jurisdictions plus i am more of swing trader and futures has no swaps principaly in gold that i pay alot of swaps in xauusd in ic markets and amp futures has alot of daily margin if i want more leverage so for me CFDs only prop firms has they are the gold pot has soon as you pass and receive refund you have free risk money to play that is better than having your own money deposited in a broker

As I’m too stubborn to use a different platform other than MT, I was able to get refunds for all my active challenges that switched away from mt5.

Since I only kept ACG, Fxify, and Funding Traders, and a few offshore non-props, I’ve had time to fiddle with Apex/Ninjatrader(Tradovate).

I love this goofy kid, was really helpful if you are completely effing lost about what Apex futures challenges are all about and how to set things up…

It looks like regulators are forcing cfds to provide real assets trading and not cfds b book

I dont know much about it other than CFD's that are not b-booked are wildly volatile, very thin markets who don't accept things like scalping. The fact retail traders have learned to enjoy them is weird but likely comes from the fake conditions a b book creates.

But as with most things retail, if you do give real conditions, everyone hates you.

For those not up to date.

MFF filed a motion for sanctions against the CFTC some hours ago. Claiming that the CFTC purposefully mislead the court to get the original order and continued to mislead throughout the process.

Its a long document but an interesting read.

It's not that thin (far better than something like the NQ / YM), but you are right about scalping. Brokers don't want the top of the book constantly chipped away at so a small minority make conditions worse for the vast majority.

A lot of props are running live conditions where they pay the clearing fess etc, so their trading experience is pretty much identical to to A book.

I highly recommend rithmic with quantower. I've grown to love it.

I would like to see someone in CFTC financially ruined (personally) and jailed. Not going to happen but that's what those crooks deserved.
They act exactly like a cop when he abuses of his power.

I'm waiting for a payout from Blue for several days now. Would like to know if someone receives a payout from them (and also Flash and Aqua because it's from the same owner). I hope Sean is not going under but I always looked at him just like Kaler (from Bespoke) who will, sooner or later, drown himself.

My last payout also took 48h and only got paid when I contacted support. Now I also contacted but they told me it's being processed. Nothing so far.
In the meantime I can't trade which is convenient for them because the 14 days cycle only restarts when they approve the payout.

despite admitting the mistake in its substance, the investigator committed perjury during the PI hearing. At the very least he is going to be in trouble occupationally. They rehearsed a response for the hearing that both the prosecutor and investigator knew wasn’t true. They knew before the complaint was filed that it wasn’t true. This is a new fact for the judge despite the judge knowing that this fact was omitted he didn’t know since when.

Doubtful anything will happen. When you work for the Government you can commit these types of offenses and keep your job. Heck might even get a raise out of it.

maybe. Investigator is low hanging fruit though. He could be reprimanded to please the judge.
