They will go after futures at some point. The FX/CFD's eval firms got way too big way too fast. Having to stem that is kind of important as some sort of control mechanisms are necessary and they dont want to go through the same problems they are going through with crypto. Crypto is essentially a last man out ponzi (you cant write an essay to me on why its not but I will not read it).

Does the system “knows” what promo we enrolled and act accordingly ?
For example, if we purchase a 3 days promo but pass in 1 day. Anything will happen or the system will be waiting for another 2 days ?

In the meantime I managed to pass my Apex challenges so I’m now funded. Yeaaaaaa !

Some spare notes that may be useful for those who didn’t get there yet:

As already mentioned by other colleagues, the process is pretty oiled.

I received an email saying that I passed. Then I had to go Signatures section in customer portal (not sure if that was already there, never noticed).
We sign each of the passed accounts (and I thought that purchasing challenges, one by one, was bad – wait until having to write the signature with the mouse in each of the contracts ).

After signing we pay the lifetime or the monthly fee (monthly fee is by default so if you want lifetime you need to change it). It has to be paid one by one (process is similar to the challenges). After paying we receive immediately the PA account by email and those are immediately in Rithmic, ready to trade (just log out and login).

If you had many challenges it can be confusing to know if you already paid some of the lines (see above). Unfortunately if you click again in a paid one the system opens again the payment screen. I didn’t try to pay again, of course, but make sure you don’t pay twice because I’m not sure the system prevents it.

As I was confused with one of them (did I pay or did I not ?), the easier way was to go to Dashboard and see if that challenges was active or not. If we paid it the challenge disappears from the Dashboard (because it is canceled automatically as soon as we pay the fee).

The other way is to do to Rithmic and see which challenges are still active. The ones where the fee was paid simply disappear and are replaced by a funded account.

The guy and the company may not be serious, I don’t know, but I must say that he has a pretty efficient machine working. Forex guys could learn a lot with Apex.

Now it's time to read the rules for the funding account and pay attention to the details, specially the 30% thing.

Why would they want to, anyway? Futures funding companies aren’t collectively lying to their customers, are they? It’s not an intrinsically fraudulent, deceptive industry.

Hi Capablanca,

Thank you for sharing that info. I'm considering purchasing a challenge with Apex & it's good to hear they have an oiled method to the madness. did you find any surprises during the process?

Most people posting here don’t think about the CFTC that way, i.e. objectively or realistically.

They start instead from a perspective of totally mistaken beliefs about the CFTC, its purpose and aims, and even who funds it.

They’re very gradually learning that futures funding firms are a much safer and better proposition for them than CFD ones, but they still don’t really understand why.

They're in "resentment mode" and "victim mode" and unwilling even to look at the bigger picture, let alone to try to understand it.

Congratulations ! i think apex have a stop loss rule in funded accounts... good luck...
Drawdown is more important than Account Size !

So far absolutely nothing, all very smooth/oiled, apart from having to learn to trade in Rithmic with the copier. I hate the platform but I got used to it. I don't like Tradovate either and there are also blames on Ninja glitches so aftercall I stick with Rithmic. It's quite painful for whoever comes from MT4/5 or from Multicharts, which is my case. I did a lot of manual mistakes in the first challenges (and I have not tried the Quantower that some people mentioned here, yet).

Let's see if I can get to a payout and if they are so efficient as they are to take the money from our pockets.

Just wondering how was the KYC process. If I decide to try it don't know if I should use my American ID or my German ID Considering I'm living in Germany now. Or do you need it at all.

Futures are not better than CFDs because it's way more easy to make money in a static DD than in a trailing one, but for US people there's not much props left.
And for the other ones, non US, better to be prepared (and some spare money, though more difficult, it's also nice).

I have to read about that. I saw that mentioned here some time ago but I didn't know about that and I'm not sure that this is really mandatory (may be advisable and I usually have SLs)

Forgot to mention. No documents, selfies or proof of address were requested when signing. I can't remember when I enrolled in the beginning but I think nothing was requested as well.
The only thing we need to fill in the agreement is the SS number, EIN, Tax ID number or passport number (but nothing is requested to confirm). And it's just the number, not even the expiry date.
Individual US citizens must supply a SSN (that's what's written in the form).

That sounds good. I've heard good comments about Quant Tower. Yes, leaving MT4 & 5 is painful. Best of trades to you going forward.

Funded Engineer said that existing traders could go on with blueberry but now all props blueberry accounts are in Close only mode.

There is no hard stop loss rule. They would like to see it used, but nobody has been denied funding or payout for not using one.

The promotions are always rolling, regardless what it was when you bought it. You’re trading today under the current promotion (3 day) regardless if you bought it last week under the 1 day.

Hummm.... but that may be bad because someone may have purchased a 1 day and then the actual promo, when he starts trading, is 3 or 7 days, for example.
I thought the system would "know" somehow.
