Point Value, Tick Value, How Many Ticks in Point in Specific Future
This is needed to understand the profit or loss that will start after entering into a trade + commission or spread if that is same in future as well like in forex
& that 14 day trial with tradovate will definitely help to understand the new platform and do testing trades on your favourite instrument future

Other than this, suppose we are gonna buy 50k Apex account only 1 unit with Trailling Drawdown
Things we need to understand about Trailing Drawdown, how it works, is it dynamic means the moment we enter into a trade, our trailling drawdown started, or it will start only after the result of trade, meaning after the trade is closed. I will check for different videos for it definitely. Its quite confusing at first thought.
Trailling Drawdown is the number 1 reason people wanna ignore futures as it seems to me according to their posts. Either they understand it fully or they are in a dilemma and confusion.

What to do if you travel and need your same home IP address for prop trading ?

You can setup your WLAN Router to make WIFI from distance, so you can travel as much as you want but if log in into internet then it is always from your home Router IP address.

You need to setup login and password and enable an option that your router is from distance when you travel available. So you always login into your router when you are online. That way you have your home IP address always even you travel 1000 miles.

I also have a solution for the futures props with their trailing DD. After gambling the first phase before you get your PA accounts, because it is so cheap with 90% discounts. Then you only need to go long NQ or ES with 1 or 2 micros. You can also buy the dip on any smaller drawdown as alternative strategy. It works. The drawback is you need to be patient. But that way you can make at least 2 times full 40k from 20 accounts with each 2k payout in 1 year, because we are in bull markets. And you can make a good living from $80k payouts you can have for sure on those futures props, speaking of APEX here first. Other future props do not let you trade 20 accounts at once, so you cannot make that much money if you are lucky 1 or 2 times per year that much. So here is your sure way for a good living. Have fun!

The futures prop space must be very small. They are only a handful of props around, maybe 20 ones. On FX props, you cannot count them. Over 200 FX props by far. I see only a chance it will grow that much if static DD will be the new standard from new futures props. There are actually many FX props preparing for Futures too. Let's see.

Sometimes I think I'm in the wrong thread...lol...as almost everyone here now talking about futures..
I wish everyone that's transitioning to futures the best of luck...its really sad to see whats going on in the prop industry and how traders from the USA are being "punished" for just being citizens in a country that continuously preaches about democracy and freedom...anyway that's another topic on its own.

Here's a thought, hopefully I don't get bashed for it, its only an idea..
What if you got someone from outside the USA to open up an account and you trade it. Will this not work?

Right now the retail eval space is "having a moment". I plan to start buying again in April once things are more stable.

If I buy again it will be FTMO, Funded Engineer, MFF if it re-appears and perhaps some fish and chips at aqua if they decide to ditch the US, if they don't then I won't. Of the largest firms, I only think FTMO is solid, 5ers are having a moment right now, TFT is starting the rug process and I think its only a matter of time until Matt Leech ends up in a case.

I am also refusing to touch anything that isn't using metatrader but thats personal preference I guess.
