-It is sad that things have come to this. Renunciation is looking more appealing each day. If not having to pay taxes wasn't a big enough driver, then surely this suffocating regulation will push some to that point.

Sounds like future props with their marvelous trailing stop will be one of the last options.

Jumping out of my bubble I wonder how much % of actual universe are comfortable with crypto.
If this is too low then the whole ecosystem will shrink substantially because payments by cards is something available to pretty much anyone.

I know someone developing something but these things take forever to build and cost a fortune to support. Any loon like cue banks I would never trust with their platform

Crypto on/off ramping has gotten increasingly difficult here in the states. Especially with significant sizes and volume.

-Most traders, that I know of, are comfortable with crypto by now, because they have had to adapt to the nonsense. There are crypto cards available that work just like prepaid or secured credit cards.

-Yes. And that would admittedly be the real challenge. My hope is that as cryptocurrency garners wider adoption, then the on/off-ramping may become less important.

Someone has to disrupt the futures prop space. Competition is really the only thing that will force them to respond. FTMO & MFF went unlimited after competitive pressure primarily from MFFX. Topstep changed their entire model after Apex started dominating and surpassed them.

Yeah idk, i was treated with a painful 2 year long proctology exam with the IRS due to me making a killing on the 2018 BTC bull run. As a courtesy i get audited every year since then and treated like a criminal with exchanges.

is there a flag on your SSN by IRS? How would the exchanges know about the audits?

For crypto payment broker, you can try AAAFX. They have been around for long years.

Because they were forced to disclose account information. Coinbase specifically and that was around the time they started receiving their own proctology exam from regulators.

And pretty much all the big US exchanges know me and or have dealt with me at one time.

Small amounts aren’t a problem, but once you start getting larger balances and volume then they get sketchy imo.

There are several international forex brokers that have recently begun offering funded accounts - has anyone heard of this or tried any of them? (I'm trying to compile a list of the ones I remember). The obvious issue is most of these brokers no longer accept US clients, so there is that issue as well. Just curious if this might be a viable Plan B if the prop firm dominoes continue to fall.

So rn from my understanding the best thing a prop could do is to short term ban us traders so that metaquotes don't freeze everything like with TFF, and then migrate to dxtrade. Hopefully this shit resolves relatively smoothly
