I keep getting ads from Aqua Funded on my YouTube feed. I think they were mentioned here before.

I checked out their "Meet the Team" page and it was like a daycare center full of toddlers. But have no fear their Co-Founder/Board Advisor is Sean Blainton, known toddler, and CEO of Blue Guardian.

Has anyone tried them yet?

Yes, this is exactly what is desired by those in control & pulling the string of the CFTC. It has been heading this way since the removal of FXCM from USA traders reach. Use a legit futures prop & all will probably be well. Working well for me with private futures account the is non prop firm, but I prefer forex & would trade forex again if I could find a reliable offshore forex broker but have yet to do so.

I believe you are right about the discount variable. My "bonus" was the amount I paid for the fee, I think I used a 30% discount at the time.
If you get funded make sure you keep your payout date in mind, its not automatic like say FTMO/TFF, and it's not anytime after 14 days like say 5ers/MFFX. You must manually request on the 14th or wait another 14 days. And if your stupid like me you might end up waiting a further 14days.

I second that, Mffx fastest payers in my experience with crypto at least, I know rise screwed a few people up on here.

Also swift is not US based , and have the 8%PT 10%DD challenge that mffx recently got rid of. So I see swift as a good replacement for mffx.

I always believed that they would chose a % to match what we paid net. Never thought that way. If that happens it would be like a refund of 125% or 150% or something else.

Anyway, I don't know why they changed this. Maybe to penalize gamblers that reverse in several props or go with huge volume ? Or something advised by their lawyers for some reason I can't think about ?

They changed some things after the MFF fiasco, so their lawyers must have advised these changes.

This was their stated reason for changing the verbiage from a fee refund to a performance bonus:

"if you take the fee and refund it as a fee then that means prop taken money from you to trade but it is actually taken to provide services so as per compliance you can not refund it directly. so we at ACG give it back as a bonus"

Seems reasonable.

The prop firm trading is not for all.

It is suitable for those who follows higest level of risk management.

There were firms in the initial days offering 5 % as daily draw down and 10 % max draw down, except MFF ( 12 % )

Now the firms offering discounts but reduced the daily draw down and max drawdown to 4 % and 8 % respectively. And added more conditions like no grid trading, no HFT, no copy trading etc.

Prop firms offers attractive price to lure traders.

At the end, 2 continuous bad days will lead to account dd breach.

So, risk management and avoiding higher exposure is key to long term success.

If some one does not fall in this category, they can goto ordinary trading with brokers.

And my end of month result is not so bad... this result, I achieved inspite of no trading in 8 days.

481 $ initial balance account is now worth 1003 $ in less than a month. I will continue with this account and in the days to come , i will focus more on this type of accounts, where i have complete control. In prop accounts, the control is not with me but with prop firms.

Update on MyFlashFunding Challenge.

After passing the phase one on 1/19/24 I was given the phase two account immediately. I did some trades last week. Not a very good week as I was hoping to pass the whole phase two BUT, I managed to make $2864 profit. I should be able to pass it in the week coming up.

I just bought one myself. I think today is the last day of this promo. I took the $100k, it came out to $298 after discount applied. Well worth it !
