Try it and see if it works, it probably will, the logic is to count back every tf period up to 20, add the full candle range, and get the 1-5-10-20 averages, and then a bit later on compare it to the current tf period's range. Just make sure you use the same tf in the different spots where it's needed, and perhaps change the text somewhere to show what tf is being used.

I need help in locating a MT4 or MT5 Top & Bottom indicator than will not repaint after the last candle has closed. Have tried several Super Trend indicators & they all seem to repaint. Have also tried several Semafor indicators & again the same as they appear to repaint. What I would like to find is a Super Trend with arrows & not the lines, or a Semafor with the spheres that will not repaint.

Surely there is one of these that will not repaint. I realize the Zig Zag & similar indicators will be repaints because of the way they are coded.

asking here if anyone already have or can rapidly give me a link where to find these following for MT5:

- a good volume profile indicator, to be used in all timeframes (I found one unable to print in m1).
- a script to allow me pre configuring lot size, SL, TP, based on the instrument. So if I trade forex or a cfd I need it to have different parameter without having to set them everytime every trade. Eventually also a button to execute trades from the chart, so depending on the instrument where it is attached, I will set pre fixed sl/tp and size for that instrument.
- a script allowing to show/hide indicators / drawings from the chart. So click a button I can hide indicators, re click I show indicators. The same with drawings.

Hello..., the mentioned strategy is one of the old classical one so called 2ma crossover. That's why, there already are tons of various type free existing ma crossover eas!

Ok So you are talking about PA which is simple if you have the will to learn
x top x bottom is not made from steel , it is just price tired of making another hi or another lo , remeber to pull a trend line , and lock it with momentum indicator such as stock or rsi , simple and respectable as old school trader trade , there is some picture comprehensively taken , drawn just to full fill what is PA look like , hope you find it here at FF and get where you planing to trade safely
PA not crufted at blue steel it just a way a trader will see what the price is doing , propability where it is heading , old saying keep testing your PA strategy

I have check them out before they are stuffed with 3mas the one im after is just 2 emas even if i try to change them to 200/365 the ea may not work according to the changes made. Thanks anyway.

Don't know why you don't like SuperTrend, but here is a version that calculates from Pivot Points, and on this TradingView 1-Hour chart I put 2 instances.

There is nowhere from Monday that if you buy on a green candle multiple times, that you could not have a good trade, until the Friday news, lookout.

And you don't mention what time frame that you are considering, it might affect whether anyone decides to share something.

I read some comments on the repainting situation; the theory was that if was on the current candle, it should be called redrawing because even the diehard purist can understand that new incoming data will affect any price-based indicator. Of course, when it redraws farther back than the current candle, I agree, repainting is unacceptable.

at least i have opportunity to make this clear, anytime i see traders writing price is king, price action is the best, indicators repaint, "now what PA look like" if price is best then those who claim it will never loose money, and we will not be here searching for what will help us see price better
this is life, everything repaint, humans repaint, the forex market repaint, its never the indicator fault, its how we want to use it, if its not comfortable with what we want then we move on, we all are just searching for what we can use, life itself is uncertain, why do we think there are certainty existing somewhere, is just human nature to think so, those moving the market repaint,

Hi guys,

please help to identify/solve the problem with this Range Breakout EA(MT5).
EA draws range(horizontal lines) based on high and low of certain time(between vertical lines) and if price breaks range up it buys when price breaks down it sells.
Now the problem is that at some point(at some days) old range is not removed and next day no new range drawn which means no new trade either.

As it is drawn only on yesterday's day high and day low. Can it be customized as to drawing from previous week's high and weeks' low and also, previous monthly high and low., and also previous two month's high and low
Please reply.
