Yeah, I did that for two lessons then decided that was enough for the night. I'll do a couple a night and make sure I finish by the end of the year.

Thanks for the info mate. Their support is garbage! They told me that they had processed the wire....then couldn't tell me the date, then couldn't tell me the amount. Absolute joke.

I forgot to share this to the group. I also claimed my 20% discount around Sept after getting 96% on the final exam haha.
I guess they just call the reward as special gift so they can easily change it anytime. Even in the FTMO discord, the reps/mods do not really endorse it or confirm when people ask about the discount. They just call it special gift.

Discount code is for single use only. Don't forget to log back in the Trading Academy if you will take the lessons/quizzes in different days. Pissed me off when I answered the quiz only for the answers to not get recorded. You can be logged out after a certain time/duration within the day.

I just can't find any help here with any halfway profitable trading plan that suits me and my objectives. It is to be crazy. Is trading is so impossibly difficult that in over 10 years I haven't found a SINGLE thing that achieves any kind of consistent results?

All you find are either gamblers who don't seem to really make a living from trading as their main source of income or people who simply have no idea but think they do or people who maybe have a clue but can't/don't want to show you anything about it.

Is there any plan that is easy to execute and is reasonably profitable, achieving 1-2% per month on average without a huge drawdown or even risk blowing up the account? Something that doesn't involve trading 28 different markets, 120 indicators and/or all of the above? Something that can be carried out by someone who has discipline but has not studied rocket science?

Livefreefx , Scott Taylor FX- legit guys with ready startegies that you can buy for pretty cheap ( I only had the course from the second one with good outcomes, but heard good things about the first one's strat)
FalconFX- well known and legit guys (but the strat was swing if I remember correctly, they might have changed) They have an amazing psychology course that you can find online on the low "Rewired"
Aaron trades- trades live everyday( I'm learning from him rn for a second strat for diversification purpouse)
Hopefully this helps, 10 years is a loooong time to not see any results.
You can find all these guys I mentioned live trading so they ain't furus.

I & probably many other here feels your pain, BUT sometimes it's not the method traded, BUT the trader himself that is the root of failure. YOU ONLY FAIL IF YOU QUIT. Trading is simple, but it's hard as an old trader friend of mine use to tell me.

If you're seeking a simple by design system that appears to only require maybe one indicator travel over to Parisboy's thread. His thread is focused on Cycles, Gann & other similar approaches to trading the markets. From my point of view Parisboy has no peers on Forex Factory when it comes to cycles & other related items.

I wish I could offer more. Best of trades to you in times ahead.

When I was more newbie than now. Few years ago that is. Now take into account I do study trading sometimes 3-10 hours per day at least with manual backtesting etc since years back. This for many years time using daytrading and scalping which suited me the best mentally I noticed. What ive noticed is in the start of this journey it felt impossible. Since once you had a system in place I noticed a moment later as market shifted it just stopped to work.

I also watched all kinds of people gurus livestreams etc, to see what they did to make it. But years after watching those videos just doing manual trading myself learning about my own psyche and trading that fits me mentally. I can say as others said in other forums. Its best to just get the chart time and look into all instruments, get the feel for them and which one suits your personality the best. They all have different rhythms.

But in the end chart time is the number one. If you watch others it takes away from the chart time and you dont learn yourself how it truly works in the markets how the neurons learn in head seeing the charting thousands of hours trying to solve how to become most profitable each day, that grind. Which is number one for the neurons.

You dont get that watching some dude online guru mimick them as a parrot as in academic system. The biggest mistake anyone can do. Is to treat trading as they do in acadamic to be a parrot. Then the years will fly away without progress for sure.
Journaling is the key to see where you did the mistakes an solve it how to improve it if you just did one mistake. Then redo and redo it over and over again finding that most profitable system for it and why it happened. If you are not a humble person, trading is not for you. Thats for sure. Then you cannot learn from the mistakes very easily.

Then in time as you do grind, its not some easy journey as most say. But a real grind you must truly have passion for it. Not think about the cash and greed, then its over mentally. SInce then mistakes happen if greed comes into picture etc.

Its 90% if not higher psychological game.
So conclusion I noticed now that I just tend to do price action charting with some simple indicator compared to before. But that one molds the mind to solve each instrument market on its own how to extract the most profit from it. Which when I started seemed impossible. But after all this grind as some suggested was the only way. This is what ive noticed so far.

Also I checked some trading on youtube lately livestreamer who do futures prop firms and could tell, started to notice mistakes he did or improve as I did some years ago myself , and then I think about how those who watch him try to copycat him methods how they would learn the wrong way. Its very custom tailored the method to become profitable for you, then you take that method and apply it on any instrument you can find as it suits your psyche. As long one knows the basics grow from there.

I must say have a different experience. I gave them another try last week after some time of not having any account with them.

Passed both evaluation and verification within 1 day (and traded microlots on crypto for another 4). Evaluation account was issued instantly after payment, waiting time for verification was just a couple of hours (overnight in Europe).

As I already went through the KYC in the past so my funded account was issued also just after a couple of hours.

I decided to close whatever profit I make and request payout on the same day. I also decided not to intervene into the process and wait what really happens and in what time. I was lucky to make some good profit and so pushed the request button about half an hour before the market closure

Immediately after that I received a confirmation email with instructions to fill the Google document (chose the bank transfer) and information that my request would be reviewed within the next 24-48 hours.

In fact, it was approved in about 14 hours, 10 of which were overnight. My account balance is reset and I can trade it again now. The money should be on it's way. So far I didn't need to remind anyone. I all went through automatically. Not bad if you ask me (and if the money arrives indeed). But it is the first payout via the new process so let's see how the next one looks like (I hope there will be one)
