They said they only bought intelectual property from TCF.

As far as I know customer service has nothing to do with the useless people from TCF, their dashboard is reliable (TCF was not) and they are paying fast until now. Besides, they were also hit by Deel kick out and were able to adapt smoothly.

I would say, so far, that ACG and TCG are night and day. No possible comparison.

But to come back to 5ers. Anyone would not join any prop in Ukraine so I think now too no one should join any prop in Israel righ now because a bigger war might be coming. I do not think that the Israelis can kill any of the opponents and the other Arabs and regions will just watch. They will join probabyl the war and the US is also in the play. If Hisbollah and the Iran is joining and maybe other countries it gets a huge problem in that region. In that case I would not want to be part of the payout game on a prop in that country. And this can be near as within 2 months, when you passed the challenge and now wants to trade your funded account at. Not good.

Yes you are right only 80k then 120k and now 240k offerings. That is good development. Never heard any bad. But did not follow to closely too.

I would like to know how to get this 30% discount now with them.

you can use a remote control to this computer when away from computer. should work fine, at least with wake on lan for starting pc.

I think there is a lot of room for more consistency rules, which makes it harder. That is still something not common. But if they cannot continue to payout they are forced to invent new rules so that they still can make profits from fees only. I really do not like this development.

Without ticking one of those boxes we can't progress in the KYC process and receive the funded account.

I doubt this is even legal by data protection laws.

Furthermore, they moved from UK to UEA (I think this year) but their privacy conditions are still the UK ones, dated of 2020. Not sure exactly what data protection law is applied (UEA or UK)

I didn't like any of this.

Thanks. Good Analysis. CTI should be avoided because of this too. An eye opener for all traders considering CTI. As I said all those firms with score below 1 in the old rank sheet are suspect to be also future scammers.

Anyone who knows Dubai. Is it worth to live 10 miles north of Dubai in Ajman for example where you can get 140 m² for 700 Eur monthly (fully furnished) where in Dubai Marina with same size for a flat 4 to 5 times more. So over 3000 Euro per month. Do you need to live in Marina or what are the advantages or better disadvantages living in Ajman ? I mean you could travel by car easily every day to Dubai downtown. And the beaches in Ajman are good too or ?

The5ers updated their Terms and Conditions and added a new Interview Video Request section that was not there before. This means only FTMO is left as a reputable firm (5+yrs) without any silly rules sadly. CTI and The5ers are slowly crumbling.

"Interview Video Request

The Fund reserves the right to request an interview session at any time during the term of the program with a designated risk manager from The5ers Fund. The purpose of this interview is to ensure the authenticity of the client’s strategy and behavior in accordance with the terms and conditions.

Upon request, the client agrees to make themselves available for an interview with the risk manager of the Company. The client shall provide all necessary information and cooperate fully during the interview process.

The Fund, based on its understanding and after conducting due diligence, shall have the discretion to determine the authenticity of the client’s strategy and behavior. Any rejection or failure to participate in the interview session as requested by the Fund will be considered a material breach of this T&C and may result in immediate program termination.

The client acknowledges and agrees that participation in the interview session is a fundamental requirement of the program, and failure to comply may lead to a termination of the program."

I couldn't find that anywhere in their terms and conditions either. That would make this a new "hidden rule", very bad and disappointing CTI.

depends what you want to do.
marina is much better for sure when you want go out by walk, work from at home and enjoy view out window....
but more important is how much time you use for travel (when go to job and back), how good is the quality of the flat (the differences are extrem because of good or bad maintenance), what is inside the price (all inclusive with all maintenance,all to pay separate, all to take care for your own, furnished, unfurnished..), what other addons are in and what quality (pool, whirlpool, gym, Steam Room, party places..), the noise (from what is in construction around you , mosque , party sounds - important by work from at home, quality of walls), security team (can be very different quality)...

you just need to be happy, some make save money more happy , some make view more happy, some want save time (because 1 - 2 hours travel time each day is more worth then this money difference) .... so for anyone the result will be different for same level of happiness (also different for different part of lives, like with children different areas are to prefer against single)

Angelo of The Funded Trader once created a poll (image is in the comment I'm replying to above) to banish a trader for refusing a video interview for marketing purposes after a big payout. The guy understandably didn't want his name and face plastered all over the internet after a big payout. The poll didn't go as Angelo expected and he removed it later. People were very much in favor of the trader and appalled that the CEO would banish someone for not participating in marketing for them. This is the sort of thing I hope doesn't become a market trend. Because CTI's video requirement to pass KYC is more about marketing than risk management or strategy.

Offer a competition for the best video endorsement if you want, give the winner a free account or T-shirt or coffee mug or something, THAT is how you market. Make it opt-in and a bonus so you in effect have a marketing budget that you are paying someone out of, don't make it a requirement to receive a product or service that someone is paying you for. That only undervalues your product or service in the eyes of the customer.

I'm not sure if I'm interpreting this correctly but the 5ers interview doesn't seem to be for the purposes of marketing, so it doesn't seem like it would be plastered all over social media and online. It is annoying but it's not CTI level bad, for sure would not go to them

Imagine you said one wrong word and your strategy is deemed to be too risky afterwards and you get banned from CTI or 5ers. Too bad, really this development.

Agreed, I wasn't comparing the two. But a video interview is clearly a "fundamental requirement" now and that's sad to see.

Personally, I don't care about a "video interview", I just think it's silly and foolish. Either you broke the rules or you didn't. They can analyze the trades and see if they are copies of other traders, or if the risk management is not adequate for them. I don't get the point of an interview to explain your trading strategy, what was the most difficult part of passing, psychoanalysis and psychology, none of this is a job interview because none of this is a real market to begin with.

And, some won't be comfortable with it, or English won't be their native language without Google translate, etc. too.
