Demand is up there, Gold was showing some weakness Friday night, but it doesn't seem to be much weakness as it already filled the gap this morning. I think if it manages to push past 1982 we may potentially see 2000, if the Israel conflict wasn't in the picture right now I'd be saying it would just continue with a down trend, but now these days anything can happen to make gold shoot up again.

Looking at the monthly chart though, when gold was at this similar price in mid 2020 (as I said earlier in this thread I think), then it dropped again. This is why I think if it reaches 2000 it won't go much higher than that and will go down.

Right now I'm not trading myself and waiting for the right time to make moves, atm I'm not so confident making a position.

Again anything can happen in the markets and I could be 100% wrong in everything here haha, just sharing my thoughts! =)

There a long red candle, on M15 and M30 which means gold dipped from 1978 to 1970. What caused this dip? what happened out there?

checking usdx . as fighting going on to keep the situation under control, usdx more healthy but becoming a bulky head with already good breakouts , the last leg up corrected over about 40 % . now over 105.77 tl support , may tolerated to 105.20 even in its existing set up but at that time the bulky head become bulkier and good risk of good failure further towards bottom possible in round top fashion ! lets see if 105.77 or arounds support or further fall till last tolerance level !

without news day who is selling usd like water ! anyway still playing arounds 105.77 supports !

for gold no much effects ( may retest 1979/81 ) but need wait for other pairs ( like eu ., gu ) bouncing withing limits to calm down and re align !

I'm waiting for gold to reach top of previous H4 red candle. However, against the trend, which I don't like. Market very sideways, don't like it. Economic calendar very light and its Monday, most traders still suffer from a babalaas (hangover) after the weekend.

no visible shock in gold so far with freefall usdx ! so waiting still 1971 breaks and hold to play down that level !

OK, so at 1h we do have a trend-line which I believe will be broken. I'm not going into 15m or 5m because I guess market is ranging now.
I'm thinking to ~1950 level for tomorrow. This week will be a bit boring compared to good profits from last week ))
