Plot a chart overlay with USD Index.
Gold prices jumped on the opening of this morning, leaving a 140pips gap, which most traders/institution will Sell in order to close the gap.

Did a multiple sells positions, but no momentum to move south at the moment in order to close the gap.
Total gain for these Sell trades were about 55pips (some being stop out at BE+1,+2)

Ain’t much of a risk off sentiment in the USA apparently, might be closing the gap today it looks like still no confirmation for a trade though markets will close when London closes.

Just as I posted last weekend, guessing the next level, where the price opened today (with the Gap). The next step I would expect, is a drop until 1830/33, so close the gap, get some more liquidity and then push up to next levels. But, maybe price continues going up, less sharply, until next levels. These days are quite tricky. Lots of issues. Dollar strength, bonds, wars, oil, macro news,...
