This is really bad, enough for me to put off the thought of getting an account with them for now. This so-called inconsistency rule basically allows them to terminate the account whenever they please.

I'm confused, why do you need to make 10% in 10 workdays? I thought the free trial was 5%.

Try to design a strategy with 1:2-3 RRR, and reasonable SL( 10-15pips), so your winners run longer then your loosers and you do not get eaten up by commissions, slippage, spread due to tiny SL.

You really need to work on your psychology. You should not be trading in financial desperation... stop buying challenges!!! Success will not be given to you. If you have no edge, no discipline & no plan you will just continue the cycle of failure.

I finished the FTMO 14-day trial account in 12 days passing all required areas. My only concern if I purchase a challenge account is will, I get paid when the time comes for a withdrawal? The Dashboard/trading platform works well so I have not concern there. Any views from anyone currently trading a challenge with FTMO would be most appreciated.

I am currently trading with a funded FTMO account. Payout has been quick. I withdraw through wire transfer. The money is usually in my account by the next working day or the day after.

I was a bit annoyed that they processed my first payout and refund at different times, the latter being a few working days later. But then I found out it's kinda my fault since I forgot I paid for the challenge with bank wire, so they couldn't refund me through the visa card refund method. My payout never exceeds 4 figures so I cannot speak for any amount higher than that. Something that irritates me a bit, is their online customer service isn't always friendly. Sometimes it's really good, sometimes it's bad. Maybe English isn't their native language? I don't know.

There's an entire thread here on FF that's dedicated to FTMO traders but I don't think it's that active anymore.

I don't know how they trade. I am just passing on the info that I got when I talked to 5ers. The 0.5% is not a requirement for a payout but to scale up. As long as you meet the minimum profit withdrawal, then you can get a payout every month.

If it takes you 4 months to get a total of 10% then at least 3 of those days should be +0.5% to get your new credentials for a scaled up acct. I don't think that is yoloing.
Anyway, I just talked to them bec I wanted to understand different props' requirements. Right now, I am trading with FTMO. But I really like 5ers' discord. There are so many helpful people there.

bro i respect you, but tbh, you should be trading not because you need money, but because you have a set up. this is why im not quitting my low paying job even tho im making much money when i am trading.

Wise advice but many will not listen. rather than get a job and work their way in life - they gamble and blame God for their greed and laziness.
You initially trade with money you can afford to lose until you are experienced, disciplined and good at trade and money management. You do NOT gamble.
