ok, maybe you are a winning trader or a loser trader, i do not know from your numbers. many write a lot and believing is different. in general 20% monthly in average no one is doing, its near 900% a year, this person would be an idiot to use prop accounts thatswhy i do not take your numbers as real (sorry but many did tell this cray numbers, and was always little account values are always fakes).

soi know you are no big winning trader in money for sure or no professional trader for longer time , because of the words you speak and trading in the prop you would be first person ever who would be doing so crazy move.

that comes from a person who tell me can do 20% in average over long time? you care about simple little 50.000 loss, that is nothing and normally people have daily maybe as a loss after trading many years the accounts and grow. i cant see how you do 20% average monthly and still have a problem with such small 50.000 loss number, really that do not match!

when you trade professional you do not have this losses, how can this be this problem?
you speak about bad traders, then yes, you are right, they are better inside a prop account. but a professional trader do not allow big drawdowns or destroyed accounts.

but really, think twice, you do 20% average monthly since long time and cant stay little 50.000 loss, that is really first time i hear about such problems. you do something big wrong, believe me - that do not match together.

You did not understand anything what I just wrote. And I have max. DD of up -20% for those +20% monthly profits. So it is basically RRR of 1:1 per month. This can be done, though it is not easy to achieve. And yes last year I had some problems as I used to trade with intense tick data (paid) and 10 second charts. But I do not do this anymore and since then I started very good this year. And I have a lot of knowledge, more than 15 year fulltime trading experience. So I know exactly what I am doing!

Why are here in this thread ? You do not want to join any prop trading firm ? Or you are net looser and need a prop firm to make consistent gains with those props ?

but its drawdown, that is recovered very fast, so 20% drawdown is nothing when doing your 900% each year, so still do not know the problem with small 50.000 loss.

and i do not mean any as attack, i mean it like this: with 20% average monthly you should rock the world, totally do not use any prop and just grow your account and grow and grow. so simple .. long term planing over short term game playing in prop. so your plan in general is wrong , or the 20% monthly is wrong, both do not match or you like wasting extrem money and time.

You are totally wrong. But I do not repeat what I just wrote today. Are you a profitable trader ? Are you consitent profitable too ? Who are you that you are telling me something and give me advices ?

i can stop writing when many do not care too! but living in fantasy world is risky in trading, reality always hits more early then later.

That is why you need to work on your own strategy first. Before you can tell anything you need to have a good strategy. Otherwise you are in wrong thread. Prop firm business is only for traders who have a good strategy. Otherwise you are wasting your time here and you should spend more 10 years until you come back and write.

but i have already strategies and growing since decades. i am old already.
and prop firm are for traders who do not have a good strategy, you never learn this fact . when yor starting point is wrong, the rest conclusions gets wrong too.

i write because i know what i speak about and maybe some help my answers, when they can understand at their point of experience.

it looks like you do not know :
- why prop exist
- how they work
- what traders are good for use it and who should not

you need to learn all this before you start doing so many mistakes and waste your time and money and do not fake 20% average monthly when you not have this over many years and still care about only 50.000 loss (nobody would care by have 20% monthly over many time like you tell here).

you show often in your words why trading can be so complicated, what is normally so easy when done more structured with less mistakes in planing.
when a plan is not on good foundation, how will it be work out perfect?

With everything in flux on the FX prop side, I'm about to test out the largest Futures prop Apex funding. They currently have a 90% off sale going right now. Target to DD is 1:1 on 25K and 1.2:1 on 50K... 50K w/ 2.5K DD = $17 initial fee + $140 1x activation fee if you pass. Their intraday equity trailing DD is really awful (it does stop trailing when it reaches initial bal), but I have a 1:1 RR tighter SL system I can test out where the trailing wont be an issue. On the plus side it's a 1 step challenge, there's no daily limit, they pay via ACH & 1st 25K is 100% split... so I'm going to give them a try.

The Apteros Score is negative. You need to flip 2.5 times in your challenge. Means on Euler this 12.2 times as value, which is 300 USD per month (!), then you have 60% split only of 4k USD max. DD. So you pay per month in value around 3.7k to get after split 2.4k. This is daylight robbery, only for those who cannot calculate.

Even better to go for Tradeday. Live account and 0 restrictions on withdrawal, EOD dd.

Apteros minimum 2 months to get funded and withdrawal every quarter.
E2T is also trailing dd on live account.
Apex is a ponzi always on sale, activation fees, live trailing and withdrawal restrictions..pie in the sky.

Tradeday offer is without value. The (best) Score is 1, so no difference to trading ones own personal account. You do not get any value there on their offers.
