I use MT4 expert advisor, it very simple code. If plot is bigger then you want then it close part of it until right size is made, also if order count is bigger what you strategy requires, then it close it. It help a lot if distcipline not work out or emotions take over i use this in tick pc and its in tv, so i cant just go and turn it off.

Im realtive heavy on buy positions. Wisely enough small postions from 1920 and down with lot of space inbetween. Might survive to 1800.
Lessoned learned again. Small positions!! Get the small profits. In and out.

Gold is highly unpredictable. Lots of factors behind why it moves and how it moves. Traders that are not professional, Im included, do not have the entire picture.

Still taking buy positions but also ending them quick as the price goes down. trying to find the bottom. Soner or later it will have a larger retracement. eyes on supply and demand zones .

Every new position is 2 x 0.03. If it continues down end both. if it goes up end one with profit and leave the other one with SL BE. Need to have positions when gold decides to go back upp to 1900+ due to existing positions.

Of course, all this is basics but still. One strategy when things go well and an other one when things tend to f*** up.

probably cause china or whoever stopped buying it...i kept saying there was no TA reason for gold jumping up all the time was just dollar intervention

then the chinese quit fighting the dollar and now they probably quit buying gold..plus dollar going back to 114 after retraces if it ever does retrace

also i mentioned couple days ago that shutdowns are dollar bullish but what i didnt know was that threats of a shutdown are too LOL

i didnt look closely enough on the charts when dollar started going up.... whether its before or during the shutdown

my targets were 1800 and then 1600 on gold like i been saying but stopped cause i bored myself and started trading GU

also i explained in a couple posts about the last intervention in sept 2022 was a worldwide cooperation to save liz truss and englands ass back then but now if japan wants to do it theyll have to do it alone cause usa or britain wont help japan LOL


if you search liz truss zebi in the little bbox youll see my posts and detailed reasons why the pound and gold goin back down to sept 2022 levels

i just have to stop countertrend buying cause causing me anxiety and pissing me off LOL..cause i lost money on my longs just like everybody else.. i just didnt expect such a massive drop so fast..i thought it would be more controlled but this shutdown business scared everybody back into buying the dollar

I hope this drop stops @1848-45.
I hope it’s hits 1960-70 next week.
the drop was massive, and for everyone that was badly affected,blown account and huge loss, I wish you speed recovery, come back stronger and better. Happy weekend.
