Hi Maverick02 and John612, trading is easy you just press the buy or sell button.First of all I'm am not a guru or qualified to teach just sharing.Take whatever is good for you and ignore the rest.It is not about the system or strategy it is you.Of course you need a good system to be profitable.Know yourself first.For a start you can open a H4 line chart and draw the nearest A and V.Change to candle stick and adjust the pin high and low.Go to lower time frame.You will be amazed how price react.Work on you money management and create your own strategy.Tips first touch is the best.Example during Frankfurt and London price expansion sweeping Asian low as in arrow is a good set up for a buy.Good luck.

Guys, is gold gonna go up at all? It's been just falling for the last 15 hours or so lol. I kinda made a careless mistake which made me a huge loss and I want to recover that somehow Can someone help me out please

Explain a bit about your trade and RR......

Gold is in Selling mode but now it required a retracement from current zone or 1907-08 Zone.Maximum retracement I am expecting 1921-22 or a bit more.Better to wait for 4H close for more clear picture.Trade safe

They will start printing again. about 27% of US government debt will be rolled over to current interest rates next year, that is a massive increase on interest payments. Foreign countries have enough of their own debt, and therefore rising interest payments of their own to have the money to buy more US debt. Even the our country, the UK, which is the 3rd largest holder of US debt behind Japan and China are reducing our holdings.

The reason we are seeing the relentless rise of the DXY is because massive companies such as Evergrande (who missed an interest payment yesterday) and Country Garden, and governments are selling US treasuries and other assets in order to get dollars to pay their dollar denominated debt.

Ultimately, ass the interest payments needed to be made by the US government increase rapidly, that will increase their budget deficit even more, they will need to sell more and more bonds to fund it but foreign countries will be more and more reluctant to do so.

They will then have no choice but to go to the lender-of-last-resort, the Fed. They will turn on the money printer again in order to fund the government.

Look back at my comment history. I've lost loads and totally lost my shit as a result. You aren't alone. Trade smaller. It's a marathon, not a sprint.

Will gold ever go up. It's kind of the wrong question. The value of gold has been very stable for a very, very, very long time. The proper question to ask is whether the dollar will ever come down. The answer is yes. Why? Because it's a fiat currency and all fiat currencies eventually go to zero (it's down about 98% since the Fed was created so not far to go). Will it be today or tomorrow? Probably not. This year? Doubt it. This decade? Perhaps.

When a recession happens (which the US is in, just like every Western country whether they want to admit that or not), you tend to see gold do a dump. A big reason for this is because gold is very liquid and easy to sell in order for people, companies and governments to pay down debts. Then when it idiots running the central banks admit what's happening, gold takes off.

I think its retracing to the extreme POI, then after a CHoCh in ltf could might be a possible reversal point. there’s so much liquidity at top,price should definitely tap to that lavel. i might be wrong trade safe

Well i had a buy limit set at 1919 yesterday evening and then i broke my phone, didn't have anywhere else to check it. Turns out i forgot to set stop loss, the limit got triggered, gold kept falling, i just checked and it's at 1909 so yeah fml

Oh yes, i do trade small. I barely have 500$ in my account lol. And every time I get to 600, i end up losing more and falling back. Still trying to learn though. Thanks

Worst thing you can do now is behave like me and make over leveraged revenge trades. Take a deep breath, accept what happens and learn from it.

Ah yes I'm trying my best to not revenge trade. Read many comments here of how revenge trade went to shit further. I'll keep that in mind
