What's anyone's view on E8 at this time. Not seeing them being mentioned much lately.

I just started a trial account with FTMO & so far like what I see. Any views on this firm would be welcomed.

The score is same like FTMO but FTMO has much better reputation so among the two only prefer to choose FTMO.

"may" not means "will".

I also find it somewhat irritating that the contract is concluded with a “third-party company”. Maybe these are just the usual formalities and mean nothing. Has anyone had this contract or, more generally, prop trading with such a company checked from a legal perspective?

I really don't want to waste any more time on things that seem fundamentally against you. Otherwise, I see an opportunity to trade with larger capital. I have money myself, but if I don't necessarily have to risk it just to eke out a living, then maybe that's something else. They say you shouldn't trade with scared money and that it only unnecessarily increases the pressure.

Regarding to "Influencers". They are usually paid to produce content and promote it in order to earn money. Whether you should believe any anonymous statements when there isn't even any evidence in the form of data/facts from these influencers is an open question. On the other hand, you will also find thousands of "payout proofs" and people telling you how great everything is. So, no idea.

Probably the only way to find out is to try it myself.

I have a funded with them (didn't receive a payout for a while, though). If I hadn't an account I would probably not start now. Picking a US prop I don't think it's the safest bet right now.

Sorry I replied to wrong person but anyway yes agree slippage is part of life but that isn't the case here they load extra onto the quotes on the STP guys. I don't think it can kill the strategy but for some (scalpers) it has to be factored in if you are shooting 6-10 and spread and commission is normally around 0.8 -1.2 pips to cover that cost if MFF then add 0.5 to every quote it took it out of the pocket of the trader. Fact. Other than that the model is what it is and there is nowt else on the scene right now that gives the same bang for the buck. I won't delete the post but will repost to the person I meant to reply to.

so what you are saying is that they made traders on stp lose? Think hard about that mate. There are traders who violate and all trades closed because of spread and commission is the argument. Really think about the logic of that.

Yesterday I got a payout in FXIFY from another account. 8 hours total until I got it in my crypto address. I had, though, to contact live support to know how was that done now. They sent me a link for the google form I spoke about some days ago. Something nice if that they don't charge any gas fees or so (TFT or TFF deduct some amount for that).

Nevertheless, the most surprising thing is that Alpha is still paying through Deel. I have no idea why they are an exception but I got the payout normally, as before.

Thank you for your reply & I agree. My focus is on FTMO, but I have the same concerns as Iddd a few post up. After completing the trial account seriously considering purchasing a challenge.

No I didn't say that, I said they were what's called clipping, skimming, call it what you want, if they were taking 0.5 or whatever extra off all the STP trades that obviously came out of the pocket of the winning traders. That extra 0.5 belongs to the winners. Effectively you were paying the quoted spread from broker plus MFF's mark up. That's not cricket and it was obviously done to try and offset some of the costs of paying out the winners, so "He" could keep more of the failed fees.

EDIT: to be clear you were already having natural market conditions from the broker and MFF put their cut on top. So that was stolen from your pocket and ever other winner.

I think i am going to buy the smallest FTMO challenge and try to find out myself. Since they don't seem to have the time limits anymore, I'm going to take it slow and simply risk very little per trade and then see what happens if i should pass. I'm assuming that even if you don't get accepted as a "FTMO Trader" you'll at least get your money back if you successfully complete the challenge.

I haven't seen anyone have a problem with becoming a trader after passing the challenge and verification, I might have missed something but its not something I've seen anyone complain about.

A very bad take mate. Metatrader doesn't work that way. Even if best bid and best ask is 1,000 volume you will get that on 1,000,000,000 execution if you don't simulate real market on meta. You have to add depth or simulate depth, its why news is a nightmare everywhere. The STP accusation is that in SOME instances, mff got better bid/ask that was on the feed. But they didn't say "and there is no positive slippage".

People here have reported positive slippage in MFF.
The argument is flimsy at best but so far, it doesn't seem like everything is public. But the STP argument and the commission argument are really dumb in their complaint. The profiles without disclosure, maybe. The securities code violations, maybe. Misleading marketing, more likely.

Most copiers have the ticket number in brackets in the comment. If you can change the comment (test first of course) to say something else. Then its impossible to know if its a copier or not so long as both trades are not in the same server. Duplikium is easy to see because it comes from "Signals" as method in the manager terminal and none of these companies have signals enabled.

"May" is a peculiar word. It can mean the same as "might" (this is the meaning you are thinking of, when you say " 'may' doesn't mean 'will' "), or it can mean "has permission to" or "is allowed to" (this is the meaning intended there).
