Guys, be careful of tradernok. I am following pacer closely and he has started just making shit up. No idea why, but the latest stuff is just made up. He started off good just releasing docs but now who knows what he is doing.

Never mind his agenda is now clear. Give prop firm advice and refer people to 5ers.

the evaluation company for T3 trading group , 1 of the biggest prop shops in the USA , even has a program that allows you to make money during the
qualification process , that money is coming from the fees ,nothing wrong with that because in the end you get a real funded account

Topstep has been around for more than 10 years..they are not attacked , Those companies are good promotion for futures and in the end the exchange makes money from those companies through the exchange and data fees you pay when trading …

Infact all regulated brokers are not following STP model as it looks.

For small lots , liquuidity is provided by brokers themselves, That is Market maker type.

Most of prop firms now offer " market maker " type feeds to users.

So, the regulators looking only to regulated broker to be used by firms irresepective whether thy are fully STP or partly STP ?

I am confused in this.

Infact lots of regulated brokers are market maker type.

100% correct, other than IB in the US which is no longer available to retail, the other 4 (IG, TDA, Oanda & Gain) are market maker bucket shops.

Each time this discussion continues it starts to feel more silly from cftc because just basic stat analysis would indicate that b book is the better way to run this business. The data proves that and it’s same for brokers. The question remains whether or not they even care.

A regulated broker can be market maker. It's ok.
MFF was not a regulated broker...

Seems to me that this Goat Funded Trader is shooting on his foot. I doubt he is not doing something similar. And if he is not then he won't be in the market for long because he will lose money and/or will a target for cheaters who will bankrupt him.

I think the prop firms of lesser in nature will target bigger firms.

I mean..loosers will target the gainers in principle.

Maybe they are letting Thinkmarkets to do it for them. However, I don't think that normal slippage is a key issue for being successful or not.
