it's just a numbers game. Another way of selling overpriced 200K (Brainiac) and 300K (Maniac) accounts.

-I looked at their site yesterday. Some things are unclear. On the one hand, it is a one-step challenge, however, I cannot find anything that indicates that the challenge fee is refundable.

The scaling feature is attractive (comparatively speaking), but the cost for starting where you left off (in case of breach), is not overly apparent. They give some explanations, but it is not abundantly clear. They also do not pay out anything if the account is breached.

Overall, there are pros and cons, just glancing, but more clarity is needed.

Trailing drawdown is a rubbish feature.

90% payout from first pass? What is in it for the provider if they only get 10%? Sign up fee model perhaps?
Do they really offer real funds after challenge passing?

Turns out after more research they provide DEMO. They updated their website to mention demo. So how can anyone claim to give you funding when it is demo? Can someone explain this silliness?

So how does a provider pay out a profit share when the account is demo? Not logical?

Even a bigger thought, why would anyone pay to trade a demo account? A challenge ok, sign up, but why ongoing with demo? Where is the funds come from me thinky?

That's one expensive demo challenge. 30% demo loss is zero cost no?

Virtually every prop firm trades on demo.
Why would anyone pay to trade on demo? I cannot tell if you are truly naive or just being sarcastic.....they pay 85-90% of the profits you earn on said demo......that's why. What they do with the trades/data is irrelevant. You trade as an independent contractor and get paid 85-90% of your profit.

Demo profits in reality is not real funds so how can they pay? From sign ups? Is that how it works? Sorry I may have believed these funded accounts were a real thing. You know real money changing hands type of thing like real business does. Like when you buy real estate with real funds not a demo scenario. Maybe I'm naieve but how does it work?

The money they pay me spends like real money. To be honest, I really could care less where they get the money from. If you TRULY want to know how it works, I guess you'll need to do a bit of research. Each firm operates abit differently. A handful of firms COPY some trades, some make money from the data they are generating, others have figured out how to profit on the order flow. It would be naive to NOT BELIEVE the challenge fees are part of the revenue source used to pay profits. Once again, I prefer to focus my energy on getting paid rather than picking apart the model to figure out how it works.
Just a hunch, but I believe you know exactly how it works and you are simply one of the trolls that pops in every now and again looking for a reaction and an argument. I apologize in advance if I'm wrong. I'll pass on engaging in the debate though.

No probs and thanks for the explanation. That was helpful. Not picking apart anything just trying to understand the risk - like one would when buying a car for example. Don't be afraid of conversation and your troll comment was rude and not required. I don't live on these forums so don't confuse popping in with trolling.

Got a payout from MFF today on my high roller 20K account.

Got the payout in Bitcoin about 12 hours after the request. About $1600 with refund and evaluation bonus. I know I know 4 figures, it's impressive

Actually decided to be a little more serious about trading after taking some time off. Had to redo my KYC as they use a new automated system for that. Uploaded my docs and was approved in a few minutes. Pretty smooth and not much time lost considering it's a Sunday.

Yeah, you didn't think outside Todderville did ya?

Still working on the 10K 3-phase Lark account. At 3.5% in the first phase.

Instant credentials, no trading issues but also small lots and no indices traded.

Then you pass, you get a 100K funded account, you make 75% profit using the same trading style and they deny it accusing you of gambling.

Having "demo" written there means little. For example Finotive (and some other I can't remember) has "live", even for the challenge phase. Obviously that they won't send challenges orders to live market.

I wouldn't bother about what is written there. Companies with their own server like FTMO, MFF, TFF, 5ers, etc. can call the server what they want. So, the name being "MFF-Live" or "MFF-Suckers" is the same. In other words, having "live" is no indication of anything or that they send orders to the market.

If you contact them and express this concern the response you'll get is that they have a demo server and them copy it with a bridge to the live market. And that they do this for regulatory reasons, to avoid the heavy rules of legislation, bla bla bla.

We will never know, honestly.

To me, personally, it's not really important if they A-book us, B-book internal order or simply use the fees of losing challenges to pay the winner traders. The important is that they are solvent to pay us. Some of the companies that went already down, like Funding Talent, had "live" in the live account. It was just an expression and not an indication of anything.

is there a member here who already made withdrawals and have little to no issues on this prop. it seems a very promising trading condition.

one thing i don't like with the tradiac is they don't offer refund if you pass the assessment.
