Man I wish I had the confidence and knowledge to short when it was in the high 20's, living off of swap fees

A question: do swap fees just continue to be added as long as the trade is open? Or is there some kind of hard limit?

Never had the fortune of holding a decent short position...

They keep adding each day as long as the position is open, gets added to equity after you close the position.

Buy swaps on the other hand, some brokers take it off your equity at the start of market day, my broker just takes it off my profits after I've closed the entry, buy swaps policies differ from broker to broker.

Suddenly I want to be a bearish swing trader my broker takes it away from profits, I've held positions overnight but RARELY longer than 2 days, thanks for the info.

I have not intend to promote any broker here but Exness is my all time favorite in case of Swap charges and instant payout specially.They provide Swap free account and payouts are instant. Just my one cent opinion.Trade safe.

USDIndex is still too high for Gold long

DXY has 2 nearby levels of reversal 104.400 and 104.700. Price is very close to first so price can grab liquidity there and return for fill that gap and if it not stopped at first level then it can attack the second one. I may be wrong.Trade safe

Hope so. As it printed a new top marginally though and so automatically entered in bull set up and may try hard to stay in bull, so 1921 or d top even possible, anyway once over 1917, will put be, set and forget, no tp and manually at near top if available. Daily doji not enough to trusts still. Anyway, will for sell arounds 1920, same. Take care

Powell speech @Jackson Hole today at 10am US time - will be some very big move, dont be caught out guys, no point predicting what you think will happen just mark out targets for price to be drawn towards and let the move happen before entering on the data that comes out.

2021 Powell speech 1784 - 1816 in 2 hours

2022 powell speech 1756 - 1734 - in 2 hours

price wicked to grab liquidity on both these days and then moved in the opposite direction so anyone inexperienced dont be caught out, think NFP.

Good for Dollar - targets 1901, 1889, 1884 (large liquidity here)

Bad for dollar - targets 1930, 1941

these are only my personal opinions of course.

Price respecting yesterdays low. Expected upside 1920 maybe before new york. Tonight uom sentiment, be wary.
