Trend line is so close to price.

In my opinion, the weaker PMI numbers were because of the recent rate hikes from the FED. Powell, wants inflation to go down, and he has succeeded this year in bringing it down. Todays move up in DXY was probably to take out some stop losses, but DXY will continue its trend down to follow with the FED's inflation forecast. That will certainly bring Gold up to above 2000. With BOJ's recent rate hike stop, we can expect the buying of Gold to continue in Asia as their cashflow increases and their latest selling of the Dollar. China is still the largest buyer of gold in the world.

It might not happen over night, but it is in play for the Dollar to go down and gGold to go up in the next few months.

Hi Terry thanks for the tip. When the last time price fell to 1942 due to the news the price stayed above 1942 and then went up to 1970 in two days. Now is a different situation but maybe indeed price will stay above, will be important what Asian session will do. But if the ~35-40 doesn't hold then the graph shows more lower values towards 1900.

Next CPI numbers from USA will be important let's see what that will bring.

EUR, GBP have just recovered some losses against the dollar. But not Gold. I am long in Gold at the moment that is the reason why Gold is not recovering more I suppose . Asian's should help us

LOL...i think you found the glitch in the matrix...FF probably spent good deal of money to code aan algorithim to highlight big mouth contributors and you did it in 10 days and 35 posts by subscribing to 2700 people...i didnt think there were that many in FF LOL

i knew starting many threads even stupid ones helps get the influencer tag but you did it a much better way

Just had a look at gold futures, looks like best interest in December contracts.

Open interest prices not indicating huge price fluctuations Dec estimate 2000. Can this be reliable at all? We will see in a few months

At previous 1942 everybody was also thinking in long, then it went good This time it doesn't look that strong because it recovered just about 3 dollars.

It has been a while, guess many buyers entering to hold where we are now, but will get there eventually.

AliBaba was sold today -2%, dollar remains strong and courageous will continue to rise. But I expect unexpected moves to happen soon, quiet before the storm.
