Of late i am not trading with FTMO for reasons, I find MFF is the best at this time. I noticed some 60 pips slippage in gpusd paid some 2 years ago... in a challenge account. How is their spread and slippage during news events ?

This is what happened to me with TFTP... I had existing sell positions in gbpusd... the price spiked down after news, I tried to close open positions in profit. Could not get fill... and then the price spiked up... to fill my stop above 48 pips from stop loss level.

Accounts ( One funded and another phase 2 ) got violated within minutes.
Intraday only.

I've already done that. That is why my spreadsheet only consists of 6 firms. 5 have their own feed and TFTP is the only 8cap firm.

I always find a way out before news unless I’m feeling like a lucky punk.

I would consider MFF, TFF, FTMO, 5ers in this order.

And most importantly, I can copy trade from MFF to TFF ( In line with TFF copy trading rules )

Firms using 8crap can add slippage as a parameter with several possibilities (in all trades, depending on the kind f trader, depending on the volume, etc.). It's like a videogame.

Mt5 and ctrader are easier to play with than mt4 . I just spent like 3 weeks manipulating ctrader for a client. Mostly to build realistic conditions but also to see how far you can push it. It’s actually super easy if you have a meta trader server as well with a bridge. Mt5 has good built ins if you want to make a feed more realistic but retail traders hate that
