Hi,
Would like to seek help on editing this free fractal indicator @https://www.mql5.com/en/code/11145
Current criteria of the fractal to show requires 5 candles to compute. Example:
Bullish fractal will be form on the candle only if the low of the candle is lower than the PREVIOUS 2 and NEXT 2 candles whilst
Bearish fractal will be form on the candle only if the high of the candle is higher and the PREVIOUS 2 and NEXT 2 candles.
Would seek assistance for 2 modifications to the code:
1) Would like the fractal to compute based on just 3 candles instead of 5:
2) would like to change the condition of the logic slightly instead of simply higher/lower
Below is the logic:
//bearish
if currentcandle.close > previouscandle.high AND currentcandle.high > nextcandle.high === draw bear fractal
OR
//bullish
if currentcandle.close < previouscandle.low AND currentcandle.low < nextcandle.low === draw bull fractal
Have attached a screenshot on the criteria as example.
