-That sounds about right. Sometimes, they are loud because they are trying to grow. When they are loud and also hearing rumors about payout denials and other problems, then that mix is not good.

I see these firms like waves that will come and go. Some are bigger than others. Ride them while you can.

I have no problem with Finotive if you have not boosted any account previously and you do not have a strategy of all in/all or nothing. After boosting one account I would be cautious, depending how you boosted it (how fast, ratio of winners losers, lot size, etc.).

Provided that you follow all their annoying rules (50% DD in a single instrument and SL in 60 seconds).

A tip if you go for Finotive that I only read recently: if you think you messed up with a SL in 60 seconds or miscalculated anything, they do reset your account for free, as many times as you want, provided that profits are above zero. No matter if you are in phase 1 or phase 2, you will restart where you were.

Matt (MFFX) left the prop firm telegram group this morning. He even said he no longer wants to be recommended there.

Dylan (E8) confirmed that he had decided not to share the data with other companies. It is a responsible and professional decision

Perhaps trading data can be shared without sharing personal information.

I can only speculate on this, but I would assume that most traders would want something to be done to stop people from cheating and abusing the model.

A huge circus today again in the telegram group, todays clown is Bespoke. They again out of thin air accusing trader of cheating without providing evidence.

I think “talks shit about other prop firms” should go on our list also. How professional, get up on your blow horn and shit on companies.

Eliminating a lot now. Finotive started awful, when I tested them they sucked so bad. I understand they made some changes but first impressions and all

Based on everything presenting itslef over the past several weeks/months......I think we can all agree FTMO and MFF continue to be in a class by themselves. I also use TFF and TFTP, but in light of recent developments, I will trade what I have there and not add anymore. E8 is starting to seem like a decent option and the 5%ers are about a solid as it gets. Now that they have an actual model that offers value to the trader. I posted this from their site yesterday, seems like they have all of their bases covered. I am assuming MFF and FTMO do as well. Highly unlikely ANY of the out of the box 8crap offerings have anything remotely close to this in place:

I don't know how the traders that like a 30 day limit and enjoying it so much, can make 8 or 10% required in this slow month of June.

5%ers have good spre.ds and I used to be a supporter of their model. But. But they have changed their instant model which is very expensive now. The constant changing is dumb. Who want's a 10k account for the same price as a 25k account elsewhere? How do they payout over 50% in split if they have real funds exposed to a trader? 100% at 4 million? That's 4 big ones at 100% to the trader, who can fund that? Big business gives money like that? Just does not seem logical. So is money free now interest rates are going up all over the place? As a business wouldn't it be more prudent to take more of the profit and want the trader to do well to keep that realtionship going? Big business usually has a cost to obtain funds. Are traders just fly by night get a quick hit take money and run? Or is the level completion quite hard after 1 or two level ups, higher account harder to trade gambling behaviour coming in from confidence etc? Will anyone get to 4million? Yes or no doesn't matter.

Funny how I am getting offers of late (May and June) for reduced fees for signals, courses etc from traders that are educaters as well. Real trading is tough at the moment.

Yes the 30 day limit would be a hard one if volatility is required for that one home run style.

Perhaps the failure rate is higher than normal FX accounts. Don't know but the lure of more funds - demo or real - with time limits or not could be enough to trigger the gambler within us all to 'have a go'.

5ers was founded in 2016 with instant model. I can safely bet that no one gets to 1.28 million. Even 160K is very hard to reach.

-The instant funding model is mostly risk-free for firms. All they need to do is match your buy-in in most cases. They can put anyone on a real account this way because their capital will be protected by margin stop/dd allowance (i.e. your buy-in money is serving as the bulk of the draw-down).

-Practically no one will ever reach that level, and they know it. In order to reach that level, you would need to flip an account how many times? 10? I'm not sure. But if you can flip an account that many times in an row without going bust, then you can easily become a millionaire without trading for any prop firm.

Anyone that actually does reach that level would be A-book anyway, so any profits paid out would actually come from market, and not from 5%er's. If you are put on live from level-1, then all of the profits that you split with them can go into a pool to fund your draw-down at the upper levels (presumably). If you go bust, they can just pocket what's left in the pool. It's mostly a no-lose situation for firms, depending on how things are structured.

I could be wrong, but this is my understanding of it. 5%er's instant might be a bit different, but even if they are taking on more risk compared to other firms, you are still having to prove yourself many times over, so maybe it's not really so much risk.
