Based on most traded areas, 1962-1956 area is the most traded volume area. If price pass through this area then next target is 1945-47, and if price fail to pass then price will be back to 1974-75 which is another most traded volume area. NFP has an ability to break those barriers (1974 upward and 1956 downward) and price will go accordingly to 2000 and 1930 respectively.

My idea to look at the gap is untouched curve from any past daily profile. I marked one with black mark which is gap/untested area and act like magnet.

cause price will be down big time...its end of the month so dont forget to check the monthly chart...if this was a 5 min. chart where would you say price is going ....like i been sayin the past 2 months a comet will have to hit earth and cause an extinction event for gold to break thru that resistance LOL

Trading XAUUSD comes down to the big players, Retail contracts don't flinch a quarter of the market, and right now BIGMONEY consider Metals, bonds a safer option to the USD hence SHORTING DXY(USD).....pay attention to the DXY chart more instead of XAUUSD chart, i may be wrong but Gold will fly breaking that level reaching new all time highs...looking to add more long positions, two of my accounts target to break 1985.... bulls be sure to use SL as we ain't in the clear till we break 1985 unfazed , i'll continue stacking my trades and trailing my stops as gold continue to fly

I know the best way is to set SL above or below swing highs or lows and adjust as the trade progresses. However, does anybody have a successful method of setting the distance of a trailing stop? Too tight and you leave a lot on the table being out too soon. Too loose and you leave even more on the table. Some have used a moving average but how many periods and what type (simple, Exp, ...), etc.
