I'm new to trading gold so not sure what rocks the market yet. Does the Prelim UoM Consumer Sentiment coming out @1500 (UK) (10am US I think), not have any impact?

@TableTop, The news always has an impact on the market, it creates high volatility. It's the direction that may not be certain now.

Oh it actually does have an impact on Gold, being high priority news, and a strong one will push gold down, at least 50 pips, and a really weak one (contraction) will bolster it upwards, probably above 2020.

I think it can be a quick one because I found a untested area at 2008. So if not not quick then I will close it before sentiment news.For me ....No news Trading.Trade safe

Can I ask why you are selling Gold when the news is good for Gold and bad for the dollar, you have predicated correctly, and I'm wondering what is the reason. I'm learning forex trading. thanks

today i am bearish bias.
i also had an earlier trade which i shorted today..
so i was just looking for short.

i look at how price react at a key level, which was support turned resistance.
