I have been doing some marketing analysis for fun.

There are really awful practices going on in the sites selling ad space. Most of all, payment for placement. So you can buy your place as number 1 prop firm on some of the biggest prop firm affiliate sites for a monthly fee. Its the most ineffective way for a business to market when the marketplace is already established but it seems prop firms need to learn the lessons that brokers have learned long ago. Paying for rankings only benefits the shitbag running the website.

Hi guys, I have a question for those who trade with MFF. They recently announced that traders are now trading true market conditions with MFF. I wonder if it affected your trading in terms of slippage, etc. or is it the same trading and you are getting your entry and exit prices with no problem?
Kindly share your experience and let me know if you are also using mt4 or mt5. Thank you!

The only way a prop firm can actually send orders out is if the conditions, even to the b-book are real. When I saw the announcement of vwap from MFF i suspect they are making a move to start filling a lot more order flow externally. If a trader is profitable on b-book they potentially won't be on a-book. So how can you tell who to a-book or even do a dealing strategy on if they are being filled falsely.
If the conditions are better than market then you will find that traders make money on b-book but lose on a-book and it can be a very expensive, especially those who trade larger sizes.

There are 3 types of drawdown.
1. Relative balance (closed position) (Funded trading plus)
2. No drawdown (almost all prop firms)
3. Relative unrealized P&L equity (almost all futures prop firms)

No you're right. Some of these Youtubers are a real laugh.

I was attracted to instantfunding io though due to their very low prices. A 25k account for under $150 is very good

I'm not sure we're talking about the same because this is one step challenges and is regarding the max loss.
Only Finotive has a static one (not trailing).
The question is about the trailing vs relative (max loss, not the daily one).

First trouble in MFFX paradise ...kind of, but everything's resolved by now.

I requested my third payout last night (first payout from my second account) and the approval took about 17 hours instead of the usual one. So the account was not tradeable for that time either. When following up on that with support they first responded that I exceeded the maximum account size (which wasn't true of course) and after that they only asked me to be patient as they were still looking into it. I have no idea what exactly the problem was. Officially they have 2 business days for approval so not a big deal from the time point of view, just wondering what they might have been after.

Hummm..... that kind of thing should be an automatic flag. Either is a coding error affecting not just your account of they were playing tricks.
I'm too cynical now regarding new (and some established) props so I think it's the second option. Let's keep an eye on them (with your help ).

I think I never wrote about Funded Next before.

Funded Next has terrible reputation but some of you know that I’m very reckless when testing props, provided that they are around for some time and I see some payouts for some time. It has been a profitable strategy so far. With these companies I make sure I respect all rules (and I don't use EA anywhere because I don't know how to use that, never used it).

So, I tested Funded Next some time ago.

Short version: they pay but I don’t recommend them at all. Their system/dashboard has a lot of glitches and their customer service is beyond anything that can be described.

Long version below.

First bad experience was with the challenge. Their system didn’t update overnight and flagged me with a daily violation that didn’t happen (I was not even close to violation).

They have account managers assigned to each trader (through Telegram) but having those or a robot is basically the same.
I spent one entire week sending print screens, explaining that there was no violation, until the robot finally understood and sent the case to another department (this took a week because we send a message and the robot only replies the day after or after many hours).

Credential for phase 1 is automatic after payment. Same for phase 2 (They keep the same number, only reset the account from phase 1 to 2).

Funded account KYC is through third part. Both this and agreement were fast, as well as credentials for funded (I can’t remember exact time but it was not long).

First payout was fine. Requested that for Deel and received it the day after (plus the fee refund, no need to request it apart).

I had another payout through crypto and was also the day after.

When I achieved the 5% profit mark, which entitled me to receive also the 15% profit from phase 1 and 2, they haven't processed it saying that my account was under investigation.

They delayed this quite a lot and after many back and forth they requested a video interview (it was in that period when companies banned group trading from guys from Pakistan and so). I thought they would find an excuse that my IP was bla bla bla or my trades were reversed bla bla bla.

A guy asked me a couple of question about for how long I traded, what was my usual time frame, what hours of the day I used to trade and what was my strategy (I guess this was to check if I knew my own trading – probably someone “renting” an account doesn’t know sh* about what's going on in their accounts).
He also asked me to place a trade in my PC and mobile (I guess to check IP or so). All cleared he said, your payout is approved.

Anyway I had to wait a lot of days for it. Everytime I asked for the payout, my robot manager replied (with 1 day delay) that they were processing it. Eventually I got the money.

In another payout I was waiting for more than one week, as well (it was pending in the dashboard). In the meantime they changed the Telegram address of the account managers and now seems to be a bot, even worse than the previous robot manager. Eventually I was able to sort this through a ticket in Discord, but took me some time.

And this is it.

If they pay ? Yes
Are they are trustable ? Not at all. Their system is prone to have errors and their customer service is basically inexistent (and dumb) if you need them.
It's not the kind of company where you can trade in peace of mind, without worrying about if and when you're going to receive the money. They are very bad.

I will keep the free ride anyway and try to milk the most I can from them.
