swing traders donot and will never experience this problem that plagues day traders quite allot.

I also use candle close option to determine breakouts but only rely on 4H Candle open/close. M30 and 1H mostly provide fake breakouts but 4H ignore it.So my choice for this option is 4H candle open/close specially for GOLD. I may be wrong.Trade safe

I strongly disagree, 3k for gold would be like those that believed bitcoin to reach 3k when it was worth less than 1k, took profit way early and reached just 50k.
3k target may not happen in the new few months but 3k is a very easy achievable target. I agree its a far reach at the moment however it wont take long before it breaks a new high. On a day to day gold gives many trade opportunities for short and long positions to be profitable. So many variables

I am short too at 2027 however I have a feeling it will have a tendency to make new highs. Better have tight SL and close profits whenever rather than closing on loss. Ideally + % is better than - % return.

I honestly think that gold have the potential to reach ATLEAST $2250 this year, for some it might be "optimistic", but my technicals and fundamentals says otherwise. I`m currently invested into gold for the longterm, i might be wrong. But no risk, no reward.

Bitcoin is a new "coin" that started to be traded at ~2009 if I'm not wrong, with all scenario behind, from 2008. How long Gold has been traded? Even at Paleolithic, 40.000 BC was found, and used. And knowing that more that 60% of gold in the world was extracted after 1950, and daily is extracted more and more, the supply will be available for lots of years. When something is new... and looks nice... becomes excessively expensive. Gold is nice, and useful, but is not new.
After 5-7-10-years for sure gold can reach 3K. But not in 2-3-6 or 12 months. The market always is right, but for sure... is not stupid.

And even then prices of gold has only gone up and making new highs. But now to then has only got more reasons to go even higher. The market is always right for sure and shown a gradual and steady increase in price with respect of market conditions.
