i have a number of trades still open when i was still sleeping gold jpy aud euro and gbp all are are a positive swap trades

today I will keep up at night at asia sesion to see if any beter spot appears to minimize the damage of this shit
at least the sell swap is positive so this may be a good try

Another one of those days when you can clear your account or make some good cash. Aussi's advice would have saved a few accounts for sure.

I completely wrecked my, thankfully, small $600 trading account last week trying to long those 4h candles all day. Since then I've had jr's 'till the bitter eod' in the back of my mind whenever I see strong consecutive candles up or down, and I try my hardest not to fight the market on days like today.

I have a feeling most traders have to get burned enough times before they stop sabotaging themselves, me included.

Of course, everyone has to learn from their mistakes. If it worked so that someone told us "don't make such stupid mistakes" once and that was enough, then everyone would be a millionaire.😅 I recommend reading what Cashbox wrote in his last thread about learning and what you have to face in the process. Everyone's path is different, but there are some universal elements.

terrible day! still embarrassed when I think about it.
